Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and system for transmitting information to a terminal T0. The invention involves the detection of a mobile object Ki (for i = 1 to N) carrying an identifier IdT0 of the associated terminal T0 and the transmission of a message Ms(IdT0, Iki) to the terminal associated with the identifier IdT0 extracted from the mobile object Ki during the detection thereof. The invention enables the owner of a terminal to designate expressly people authorised to enter into contact with him/her without said people having to undergo subsequent long authentication procedures in order to communicate with the terminal owner.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a portable telephone without a keyboard for number dialling. In stead of the keyboard, the inventive telephone comprises a limited number of keys (121, 122, ..., 125), for example of the order of five, the actuation of each key making it possible to call a determined call number. In the preferred embodiment, said keys are programmable and the telephone is provided with means for receiving configuration commands from a telecommunication network in order to assign a call number to each programmable key. For this purpose, an access code to a programming service is assigned to each telephone.
Abstract:
A consumer electronics device (10) comprises a housing (12). A control panel (16) is arranged on the housing (12). The control panel (16) has a plurality of control keys (18) having an outline shape approximating that of a part of a predetermined cartoon character.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mobile telephone comprising a memory for storing a number of telephone numbers and a number of selection keys, by means of which a telephone number can be selected from the memory with a single keystroke. At least a number of said selection keys can be converted into numeric keys, preferably by means of the '0' key.
Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to be able to convert a fully functional telephone, especially a mobile telephone (1), into a telephone for children without requiring a great deal of effort. To this end, the invention provides that, on the telephone or adjacent to other keys (8, 9, 10, 17), only one key or several keys can be accessed in order to dial a telephone number which, when actuated, prompt a dialing of a stored telephone number.
Abstract:
A mobile radio telephone or portable hot link communicator is described which provides a simple, efficient and effective means of communication to enable a child or elderly person to communicate with a known parent, relative or friend carrying a standard mobile telephone. The hot-link communicator is wrist worn, or hangs from a cord around the wearer's neck, and it comprises a preprogrammed Module that links it with preferably only one other mobile or fixed telephone. The hot link communicator comprises the very basic functionality, and in some embodiments, no display, only a preprogrammed dialling button and an answer button. The hot link communicator makes possible communication between parents needing to communicate with their children and between supervising adults and elderly persons needing assistance in that the children and elderly persons do not need to input numbers in sequence via a key pad or search for a telephone in the rain and dark.
Abstract:
A programmable dialler for a cellular telephone instrument 1 allows telephone calls to be made only to specific, preprogrammed telephone numbers by operation of one or a sequence of keys (14) on the instrument. The telephone numbers are deep embedded in the telephone instrument and cannot be changed by the user. The preprogramming may either be carried out by the instrument manufacturer, or may be carried out by a licensed programmer with the aid of a dedicated programming interface (9).
Abstract:
A system and method for a programmable communicator is described which can provide an improved child communication device, a telecommunications platform for a smart clothes application, as well as a programmable remote data communicator to report the status of a technical apparatus such as a vending machine. The programmable communicator can be programmed remotely by a mobile phone or any Personal Data Assistant (PDA) type device using any data transmission technology such as BlueTooth, Infra red light or any wireless radio communication either directly at close range, or via a mobile telecommunications network connection from a hand-held device or computer terminal connected to a data or IP transmission network such as the Internet.
