    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus for broadcasting emergency information, the apparatus including: an emergency information generator which analyzes service setup information related to general broadcasting information and generates emergency information based on a setup environment consistent with the service setup information; a broadcasting information processor which receives the general broadcasting information, transmits the service setup information to the emergency information generator, periodically monitors whether the service setup information is changed, changes a channel for the emergency information on the basis of monitoring results, and generates and modulates a first ensemble transmission interface (ETI) frame including the emergency information and the same channel as a fast information channel transporting control information about the general broadcasting information; a broadcasting information switching unit which selects and outputs one of the first ETI frame and a second ETI frame including the general broadcasting information; and a radio frequency (RF) transmitter which transmits the selected ETI frame through a RF.

    摘要: A wireless response system and method of retrieving user selections includes providing a plurality of response units and a plurality of base units. Each response unit has an input device adapted to receiving a user input selection and a wireless response transceiver adapted to transmitting a response transmission in response to receipt of a base transmission. Each base unit has a wireless base transceiver adapted to transmitting base transmissions and receiving response transmissions from the response units. The base and response units are assigned a communication identification. A response unit is adapted to exchanging wireless transmissions with a base unit having a common communication identification with that response unit. The base transmissions include the base address of the transmitting base unit. Each base unit processes only response transmissions having a base address in common with the base address of that base unit.
