The disclosure relates to a method of transmitting fax messages from at least one fax message sending device (22, 24, 26) to at least one fax message receiving device (42). The method is implemented in a fax communication device driver (120a), which is in communication with a fax communication device (130) of a fax server (100a) and a cloud fax provider (200) arranged remote from the fax server (100a) on the one hand, and a fax server software module (110) on the other hand. The method comprises the steps of receiving, from the fax server software module (110), fax data associated with a fax message to be transmitted from a fax message sending device (22, 24, 26) to a fax message receiving device (42); deciding, on the basis of at least one predetermined routing rule, whether to route the fax data to the fax communication device (130) or to the cloud provider; and based on a decision result, selectively transmitting the fax data to the fax communication device (130) or to the cloud provider for transmission to the fax message receiving device (42). Also disclosed are a fax communication device driver (120a) and a fax server (100a) comprising the fax communication device driver (120a) for transmitting fax messages from at least one fax message sending device (22, 24, 26) to at least one fax message receiving device (42).

The printing press includes a printing unit printing images on a substrate, a highlight application unit producing highlights on the substrate and a controller directing the highlight application unit to produce the highlights on the substrate. A method for producing a highlighted printed product is also provided.

A communication device that can simplify various settings of a display device, such as a TV, that provides information regarding an object (communication device) is provided. An image capturing device (1) has a RF-ID unit (47) for performing proximity wireless communication with a RF-ID reader/writer (46) connected via an infrared communication path to a TV (45). The image capturing device (1) includes: an antenna (21) for the proximity wireless communication; a data receiving unit (105) receiving an input signal from the RF-ID reader/writer (46); a nonvolatile second memory (52) storing at least UID (75) and an execution program (116); and a data transmission unit (108) transmitting the UID (75) and the execution program (116) to the RF-ID reader/writer (46) via the antenna (21) according to the input signal. The UID (75) is used to identify the communication device, and the execution program (116) is executed by the TV (45) with reference to the UID (75). The transmitted UID (75) and execution program (116) are transferred to the TV (45) via the RF-ID reader/writer (46).

A method and system for printing full images using a device. The method includes determining print target information according to transmission conditions existing between the device and the image forming device in response to a request sent from the device to the image forming device; transmitting the determined print target information to the image forming device; and printing selected contents from among the data using the transmitted print target information.

When information on addition and change of data which is stored in an apparatus and dynamically changes is set as a monitoring target, the information is accumulated in a syndication DB (1705) by an application management interface (1703). Periodically or in response to a request, an update information generation unit (1707) reproduces an entry in the syndication DB as an RSS feed, i.e., XML data complying with the RSS feed standard in accordance with a template (2300), and saves the XML data in an update information storage unit (1708). A computer (101) executes an RSS reader (1710) to acquire and display the RSS feed in the update information storage unit (1708).
