    摘要: An earpad is provided with a base and a sheath. The base is adapted to connect to a headphone housing or an earmuff housing and is formed with a continuous perimeter about a longitudinal axis. The sheath extends from the base and forms a contact surface that is longitudinally spaced apart from the base for engaging a portion of a user's head around an outer ear. The sheath defines a single enclosed cavity for receiving compliant material. The longitudinal spacing of the contact surface corresponds to a depth of the earpad. The depth of the earpad is generally uniform within a first portion of the perimeter of the earpad and increases to an enlarged depth within a second portion of the perimeter of the earpad. The sizing of the earpad may be based on average dimensions of the adult human head.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an earset, which enables listening to good-quality sound by blocking outside noise when providing voice signals, that are provided through the ears, to the other end, or when controlling a voice recognition device, and which allows effective calls in a noisy environment by increasing a recognition rate of the voice recognition device. The earset comprises: a first earphone portion, which includes a first speaker for outputting sound signals or voice signals that are provided from an external device, and which can be inserted into a first external auditory canal of a user; a second earphone portion, which includes a first microphone for receiving inputted user voice signals that are provided through the external auditory canal of the user, and which can be inserted into a second auditory canal of the user; and a main body which is connected to each of the first earphone portion and the second earphone portion. When the main body is wirelessly connected to the external device, the main body comprises; a signal transceiving portion for transceiving the signals with the external device; and a control portion for outputting via the first speaker the voice signals which are received from the external device through the signal transceiving portion.

The boom arm may be moved toward the mouth in two opposed direction, the one direction fitting a wearing style with the boom arm at the left ear, and the opposed direction fitting a wearing style with the boom arm at the right ear. When the boom arm is turned towards the mouth the movement is registered, and it is determed from this signal at which ear the user wears the boom arm, and the stereo signal is routed to the users right and left ear respectively based on this registration.
