    摘要: The present invention describes a hearing device (1) with a BTE (Behind-The-Ear) unit (10) and a thin acoustic tube (22). The BTE unit (10) has a microphone (14), an amplifier (16), a power source (18), and a receiver (20) and is configured to be mounted behind or on the ear (12) of a user. The thin acoustic tube (22) has a proximal end (24) and a distal end (28) with the proximal end (24) being connected to the receiver (20) of the BTE unit (10) and the distal end (28) being connected to a flexible mounting insert (34). The flexible mounting insert (34) comprises a dome shape part (40) and at least one core hole (42) permeable for sound transmitted from the thin acoustic tube (22). The thin acoustic tube (22) is configured to be arranged in a user's ear canal (32) to transmit sound generated by the BTE unit (10) to a tympanic membrane (38) of the user. The flexible mounting insert's (34) diameter is adapted to at least have the same diameter as a ear canal (32) diameter of a user to close the ear canal (32) of the user and has at least one internal vent pathway (66) located on the circumference of the core hole (42).

    摘要: In a digital hearing aid device (1) frequency modification is employed above a lower spectral bound and in accordance with a compression factor. The frequency modification is dynamically adjusted in dependence on a sound environment analysis (10) or an end-user input (30), by modifying the frequency modification parameters such as a lower spectral bound and a compression factor. The adjustment can be based on an interpolation between predefined parameters. In certain sound environments, such as loud noise, own-voice and telephone conversations, frequency modification is reduced or switched off. The proposed solutions have the advantage that the occurrence of disturbing noise and of distortions of harmonic relationships at the end-user's ear is reduced and signal processing resources as well as battery resources are saved.
