    摘要： The aim of the invention is to configure a fixing device (11) with at least one component (17) on a mounting plate (12) in such a way that no permanent damage occurs during a predetermined tightening of the fixing device (11) on the mounting plate (12). To achieve this a retaining part (13) of the fixing device (11) has a shoulder (18) at a point of connection with the mounting plate (12) and a spacer body (14) of said fixing device (11) has a double bush (20) comprising an exterior sleeve (21) and an interior sleeve (22). The position allocation of the two sleeves (21, 22) is carried out in such a way that during the tightening of the fixing device (11), the interior bush (22) comes to rest on the shoulder (18) and the feeding of the mounting plate (12) into the spacer body (14) is limited. The fixing device (11) is preferably designed for use in the automotive industry.

    摘要： A construction anchor (50) for mounting an object onto a structure of masonry, concrete, metal or the like includes a metal anchoring portion (10) and a plastic cap (30). The anchor (50) is adapted to be inserted, anchoring portion (10) first, into a pre-drilled adhesive (54) filled hole (52). The cap (30) has a flange (32) that is larger than the hole (52) diameter, so that the anchor (50) may be inserted and seated in the hole at a consistent depth. When the adhesive has set, a screw or bolt (58) is inserted through the plastic cap (30) to engage the threads (22) in an internal bore in the anchoring portion (10). The plastic cap (30) serves not only to determine the depth of the anchor (50) in the hole (52), but also to prevent adhesive (54) and other material from entering the threaded interior of the anchor (50) prior to use.

When the adhesive has set, holding the construction anchor (10) within the hole (62), the central area (54) is removed, and a screw or bolt (70) is inserted through the hole left by the removal and engaged with the threaded portion (26) of the threaded bore. The unthreaded close-fit-counterbore portion (28) of the threaded bore provides a stretch zone for the screw or bolt (70).
