摘要:
A detuning control circuit is provided for producing a pitch variation effect in an electronic musical instrument. The instrument includes at least one integrated circuit tone generator chip (12) having at least one tone generator and a detuning circuit responsive to a predetermined detuning control signal for detuning the signals produced by the tone generator. The detuning control circuit comprises a detuning control signalling circuit (38, 40) for producing a predetermined detuning control signal and for selectively applying the predetermined detuning control signal to the detuning circuit of the tone generator chip so as to produce a predetermined pitch variation effect.

An electronic musical instrument for causing tone generator to generate a musical tone corresponding to a musical performance while controlling an envelope by operation of a pedal, which instrument comprises operated-amount signal generator (4a, 5) for detecting an operated amount of the pedal and generating an operated-amount signal, and effect adding unit (19, 20) for controlling parameters for effect addition so as to add an effect to a musical tone generated from the musical tone generator (6, 7) in accordance with the operated-amount signal from the operated-amount signal generator. The operated-amount signal from the operated-amount signal generator is changed by the operation of the pedal, and an effect-adding parameter in the effect adding unit is changed accordingly.

An automatic music player system having an ensemble playback mode of operation using a memory disk having recorded thereon a piece of music composed of at least two combined parts to be reproduced separately of each other, the parts being recorded in the form of at least two data subblocks, comprising a first sound generator to mechanically generate sounds when mechanically or electrically actuated, at least one second sound generator to electronically generate sounds when electronically actuated and a control unit connected to the first and second sound generators, wherein (1) one of the two or more data subblocks of the data read from the disk is discriminated from another, whereupon the discriminated one of the data subblocks is transmitted to the first sound generator and another data subblock transmitted to the second sound generator, and wherein (2) the transmission of data to the second sound generator is continuously delayed by a predetermined period of time from the transmission of data to first sound generator so that the two sound generators are enabled to produce sounds concurrently and in concert with each other.

A reverberator comprises a tapped delay line (2, 3, 4, 5, 10) connected to an analog audio signal source (1) for deriving therefrom at least one pair of output signals which are respectively delayed by first and second different values with respect to the source signal, the ratio of the first to second values being an irrational number. A recirculating delay line (6, 7, 11, 12) is connected to the output of the tapped delay line having a delay element (63, 73, 113, 123) for introducing an additional delay to the output signals of the tapped delay line and a resistive recirculating path (65, 75,115,125) for recirculating the additionally delayed signals through the delay element. The output of the recirculating delay line is combined with the source signal to derive a reverberating audio signal.

An electronic musical keyboard instrument that is controlled by a digital processor, Key and stops/effects statuses are sampled, during successive time intervals, and read into random access memory associated with the digital processor. After manipulation and/or supplementation of the status information to effect implementation of various features, key-representative signals are read out to tone generation and voicing circuits. The on/off statuses of the keys of one keyboard are preferably represented by twelve digital words, one for each chromatic note, in which the bits represent the different octaves of that note on the keyboard. Phantom storage may be used to store note-representative signals, for example for an "orchestral rhythm accompaniment" (ORA) feature, or a "walking bass" feature, which supplement notes actually depressed on the keyboards. Another feature is the "manual memory" which sustains notes played on a keyboard while the musician changes a stop. A "restrike" feature is also disclosed, where if a given note is required to be sustained, but simultaneously also to be struck, e.g. as part of an arpeggio sequence forming an accompaniment, the note is briefly silenced and then restruck.

An electronic musical instrument with plural pitch data generating function includes a keyboard (12), a plurality of tone generating units (24,26), a pitch designating unit, a plural pitch data generating unit, and a musical tone generating unit (16,18). The keyboard (12) has a plurality of keys. The tone generating units (24,26) generate at least two tone signals in response to operation of a key among the plural keys. The pitch designating unit designates a pitch of a musical tone to be produced. The plural pitch data generating unit generates at least two pitch data based on the pitch and in accordance with different scale characteristics. The musical tone generating unit generates at least two musical tone signals based on at least two pitch data respectively, so that at least two musical tone signals have the different scale characteristics.
