Said device comprises a first fitting part, a second fitting part and an eccentric cam, which are located on a common rotational axis. In an operating mode, the rotational axis revolves and the eccentric cam can be rotated about the rotational axis. According to the invention, at least one first rotating element is located concentrically with the eccentric cam and rolls off the first fitting part and the relative positions of the two fitting parts can be adjusted. The invention also relates to a method for producing said adjusting device.

A lever 38 or other retainer secured to the shaft has interfering engagement with the nut to prevent rotation of the nut about the shaft, and thereby maintain the selected clearance between the nut and the boss.
