摘要： A steer axle assembly is provided. The assembly includes an axle beam that defines a boss at one end. The boss defines one bore configured to receive a kingpin. The boss further defines two additional bores that intersect the kingpin bore and that are configured to receive draw keys used to secure the kingpin within the kingpin bore. The draw keys are both disposed on an inboard side of the kingpin. The assembly further includes nuts disposed about one end of the draw keys on the same side of the axle beam. The inboard location of the draw keys and the same-side location of the nuts reduces assembly time for the steer axle assembly and securely locks the kingpin within the bore.

摘要： A scaffold joint for connecting the ends of horizontal scaffold members (10) to vertical scaffold members (12). Spaced pairs of ring support members (22) are fastened to the vertical scaffold members by welding or other suitable means. End connector assemblies (16) are fastened to the ends of the horizontal scaffold members. Each of said end connector assemblies includes an end connector member (24) and a locking assembly (26) slidably mounted thereon. Each locking assembly is comprised of a wedge member (39) and a wedge retainer member (41). The wedge retainer member (41) is free floating relative to the wedge member (39) and cooperates with a bolt (78) to prevent inadvertent dislodgement of the assembly. Each end connector member has a pair of ring engaging portions (28) adapted for engagement with the spaced ring support members (22) on said vertical scaffold members (12). The locking assemblies are adapted when moved to their locked position to make tight wedging contact with a ring support member, thereby causing the ring engagement portions on the end connector members to be forced into tight engagement with the ring support members to thereby lock the horizontal scaffold members to the vertical scaffold members.

摘要： A front end loader (30) is detachably mounted on a tractor (10) by rear and forward connecting structures (32, 34). The rear structure (32) includes a bracket (90), attached to the tractor (10), which has a slot (120) for receiving a pivot pin (40) attached to the loader (30). The slot (120) has an entry portion which is slightly inclined upwardly from its opening through which the pin (40)enters the slot (120). The entry portion (40) communicates with an operative portion (126) which extends steeply upwardly.
The pin (40) is trapped in this operative portion (126) of the slot (120) by a spring loaded block (146) when the loader (30) is mounted ready for working. On entry into the slot (120) the pin (40) pushes the block (146) rearwardly and passes into the operative portion (126) whereupon the block (146) returns under its spring loading (148) to its original position thus barring the pin (40) from leaving the operative portion (126).
