摘要: A landing gear for semitrailers includes a two-speed single reduction gear assembly for conversion of crank-handle input turns into vertical travel of the landing gear leg (13). Shifting from a low speed ratio to a high speed ratio is achieved by axial displacement of the input shaft (75). With the input shaft (75) in its low speed position, rotary motion of the shaft (75) is transmitted via a pinion gear (83) formed on the input shaft (75) to a first gear (72) attached to a second shaft (60). Rotation of the second shaft (60) is converted into vertical movement of the leg (13) via a bevel gear assembly (74,34) and a nut-and-screw assembly (25,26). With the input shaft in its high-speed position, the pinion (83) engages interior teeth (84) formed on a high-speed drive gear (90). The exterior teeth (85) of said high-speed drive gear (90) engage a second gear (73), of smaller diameter than the first gear (72), attached to the second shaft (60), resulting in higher speed ratio transmitted to the landing gear leg (13). A simple, compact reduction gear assembly is hereby achieved.

The differential unit comprises a differential casing (31) rotatably mounted within the transmission casing and drivingly connected to the output shaft of the change-speed gearing, a pair of pinion gears (32) rotatably mounted within the differential casing, a plurality of first side gears (33a-33c) concentrically mounted within the differential casing for relative rotation and being meshed with the pinion gears, the first side gears being formed in different diameter and arranged to be drivingly connected to one of the drive shafts, a second side gear (34) rotatably mounted within the differential casing, the second side gear being meshed with the pinion gears and drivingly connected to the other drive shaft, and a shift mechanism (30b) for selectively connecting the first side gears to the one of the drive shafts.

摘要: A landing gear assembly for supporting a trailer has a drive mechanism for vertically extending and retracting a telescopic support (11). The drive mechanism has a two-speed gearing provided by gears on parallel input and output shafts which are axially relatively movable to change between the first and second speeds. In particular a drive gear (85) mounted coaxially on the input shaft (75) has an internal splined or toothed keying conformation (84), and a corresponding keying conformation (83) such as a smaller drive gear on the input shaft (75) can be slid into engagement with this for the second speed. Rotation of the horizontal output shaft (62) is converted to rotation around the vertical axis for operation of the support (11) by means of a bevel pinion (74) on the output shaft (60) engaging a corresponding bevel gear (34) of the conversion mechanism (25,26) in the support (11). The drive gears (72,73) on the output shaft (60) can be formed in one piece with the bevel pinion (74) on the same shaft.

In order to obtain a compact constructional design with a small transversal size and allow a sporty drive mode in the upshift from the first to the sixth speed, in which the shift process occur in an overlapping manner and almost without any interruption of the drive force, according to the invention the eight speeds (VI, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, V7 and R) are combined in pairs into four shift groups (SI, S2, S3, S4), two (SI, S2 and S3, S4, respectively) of the four shift groups (SI, S2, S3, S4) are arranged on the input or primary shaft (8) and two on the output or secondary shaft (9), respectively, and at least between the first speed (VI) and the sixth speed (V6) adjacent speeds (VI, V2; V2, V3; V3, V4; V4, V5; V5, V6) are arranged in different shift groups (SI, S2, S3, S4).
