    摘要： The present application provides a hair curler and a method using for same. The hair curler comprises a main body (1). The main body (1) comprises a first proximal end (2) and a first distal end (3); a first internal space (4) is formed inside the main body (1); a first elongated slot (6) communicated with the first internal space (4) is formed on the first proximal end (2); a first opening (8) of the first elongated slot (6) is formed on the first proximal end (2). The hair curler further comprises a first movable arm (7) movably disposed in the first internal space (4). A heating member for heating hair (33) is disposed on a slot wall of the first elongated slot (6) and/or the first movable arm (7). The hair curler is simple, practicable, safe and convenient.

    摘要： An apparatus manipulates the shape of hair using dielectric heating. Typically,the apparatus includes opposing first and second electrodes respectively provided on first and second arms that are movable towards and away from one another. Drive circuitry supplies electrical energy to the first and second electrodes, to cause an alternating electric field to be produced in the vicinity of the electrodes in use, and thereby cause dielectric heating of hair placed between the electrodes in use. Sensing circuitry senses a change in coupling of energy from the alternating electric field to the hair during heating of the hair. Control circuitry controls the drive circuitry to vary the electrical energy supplied to the first and second electrodes in dependence upon the sensed change in coupling. A related method manipulates the shape of hair using dielectric heating.
