    摘要： The lighted stand-up target (10) of the invention comprises a housing (14) attached to the playfield (12) and a target switch (18) pivotably mounted to the housing (14). An array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) (36-42) are positioned on a printed circuit board (30) mounted within the housing (14). The target switch (18) is actuated each time that it is struck by a pinball. In response thereto, the LEDs (36-42) are lit indicating the number of times that the impact target (18) has been struck.

    摘要： A billiard table 10 having a playing surface 15, a plurality of pockets 13 at the edge of the playing surface and cushions 14 extending along the edge of the playing surface and between said pockets 13. A reversible electric motor 18 coupled to a drive wheel 19 is provided and said drive wheel frictionally engages the underside of the playing surface 15 to effect rotation of the playing surface about its central vertical axis. The rotation of the playing surface enables the players of the game to play from only one area at the edge of the table and therefore little space is required around the remainder of the periphery of the table 10. A sloping gully 21 extending under the pockets returns the balls to a collecting box 21a.

    摘要： An assembly for detecting and separating a cue ball having a metal insert therein includes a transformer coil disposed within a main passageway of a billiard table and through which all of the billiard balls roll. A start switch disposed upstream of the transformer is actuated by a ball rolling therepast to energize the transformer coil only when a ball is present. The cue ball affects the field of the transformer such that the amplitude of the output thereof drops. The output of the transformer is compared to a reference by a comparator. If the transformer output drops below the reference, the output of the comparator goes high, actuating a solenoid to divert the cue into an unlocked compartment. A counter is provided to count the number of object balls retained in a locked compartment. After all of the object balls have been counted, the counter provides an inhibit signal to prevent actuation of the solenoid so that the cue ball is captured in the locked compartment at the end of a game.

    摘要： A ball separator is provided for separating a larger cue ball from smaller object balls in coin-operated pool table. The separator has a ball outlet (7) between spaced edges (5, 6) of a runway (1). Both sizes of balls run along the edges (5, 6), but the larger ball strikes an overhead projection (19). This pivots an arm (18) and releases a flap (10) which forms part of one of the edges (6). The flap (10) drops and the larger cue ball falls into the outlet (7).
