A ring molded article manufacturing method capable of reliably and efficiently producing a ring molded article in which dead metal regions are reduced, and a ring material used for producing the ring molded article, are provided. The present invention relates to the method for manufacturing a ring molded article having two convex portions which respectively protrude on both sides of the ring molded article in a direction of a center axis thereof and extend in a direction of a circumeference of the ring molded article. In the manufacturing method, the ring material is placed inside two molds on which concave portions respectively corresponding to the convex portions are formed, in a condition in which the ring material is supported by a region on an outer peripheral side from an outer peripheral side corner in the concave portion of one of the two molds and a region on an inner peripheral side from an inner peripheral side corner in the concave portion of another of the two molds, the ring material is then forged so as to be pressed by the two molds in a direction of a center axis of the ring material, and the ring molded article is thus produced. In addition, the present invention relates to the ring material used for producing the ring molded article.

A flywheel energy storage system incorporates various embodiments in design and processing to achieve a very high ratio of energy stored per unit cost. The system uses a high-strength steel rotor rotating in a vacuum envelope. The rotor has a geometry that ensures high yield strength throughout its cross-section using various low-cost quenched and tempered alloy steels. Lowcost is also achieved by forging the rotor in a single piece with integral shafts. A high energy density is achieved with adequate safety margins through a pre-conditioning treatment. The bearing and suspension system utilizes an electromagnet that off-loads the rotor allowing for the use of low-cost, conventional rolling contact bearings over an operating lifetime of several years.

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of forging dies, and particularly to a forging and inclined window hole punching composite die, including an upper die holder, a connection sleeve, an upper die sliding sleeve, a pressure plate, inclined window puncher pins, a center puncher pin, first connection screw rods, first springs, second connection screw rods, second springs, hydraulic assistant systems, a lower die and a bottom plate. Bottom surface of the pressure plate of the composite die is a plane to avoid deformation of a front molding surface. Hydraulic power is added to the inclined window puncher pins to increase the pressure for punching inclined holes, avoid quality problems and increase a demolding force. A multi-split synchronous hydraulic device may well realize synchronization of the plurality of inclined window puncher pins. It can realize simultaneous demolding of the puncher pins; and therefore, punching of the inclined windows of a wheel hub blank and demolding of the inclined window puncher pins are simultaneously performed in a very small space of a wheel, and the structure is ingenious.

A method of producing by forging a light alloy wheel having a disk with a large diameter by using a small-scaled press machine. A cast or forged intermediate product (3) having a circular plate portion (3b) that is to be a disk and a rim in a finished state and a thick-walled hollow-cylindrical portion (3c) is heated to a temperature at which they are easily deformed plastically. After that, the intermediate product (3) is rotated such that it is stopped at every predetermined angle, and when stopped, at least a part of the to-be-disk portion is pressed by a die. This causes the material to be extruded into a recess portion (2a) of a lower die, adding holes (4). A pattern is added to the entire part of the circular plate portion that is to be the disk by sequentially repeating the above operation, and then the disk and the rim are press-formed and finished.

Die Herstellung des Radsterns (4) für ein Fahrzeugrad erfolgt mittels einer Axial-Gesenkwalzmaschine (1) zwischen einem Ober- und Unterwerkzeug bzw. einem Ober- und Untergesenk (7,5), wobei durch Auswalzen bis zu einem Endauswalzzustand (I) der Radstern (4) ausgebildet wird. Zur Bildung der Luftöffnungen (10) ist beim Walzvorgang eine partielle Beaufschlagung des Rohlings möglich, wodurch sich Luftöffnungen als sogenannte Taschen (8) ergeben, die mit einer Bodenwandung (12) abgeschlossen sind. Nach Fertigstellung des Radsterns wird die Bodenwandung (12) durch mechanische Bearbeitung entfernt, so dass sich in einem Fertigzustand (II) durchgängige Luftöffnungen (10) im Radstern ergeben.
