The handle (20) protects the user and the unused head by covering the unused head and provides power to at least the head which is in use. Further, by incorporating the epilating and depilating heads (14, 16) on the casing (20) at the same time and at opposite ends, ease of use is obtained. Still further, in the instances that only the head which is in use is being driven, power conservation is achieved.
