摘要: A printing unit (6) includes: a platen roller (50), which extends in an axial direction, and is configured to convey a recording sheet (P); a thermal head (40) configured to perform printing on the recording sheet (P) through press contact with an outer peripheral surface of the platen roller (50); a support plate (80), which is arranged on a side opposite to the platen roller (50) across the thermal head (40), and is configured to support the thermal head (40); a frame (10), which includes a rear plate portion (11) arranged on a side opposite to the platen roller (50) across the support plate (80), and is configured to support both ends of the support plate (80) in the axial direction; at least one urging member (90), which is arranged between the rear plate portion (11) and the support plate (80), and is configured to press the support plate (80) to the platen roller (50) side; and a protruding portion (85), which is formed on the support plate (80) to protrude from the support plate (80) to the rear plate portion side, and is configured to regulate displacement of a predetermined urging member (90) of the at least one urging member (90), wherein a recessed portion (23) is formed in a portion of the rear plate portion (11) opposed to the protruding portion (85) in a thickness direction of the support plate (80).
