The writing body is stored in a barrel so as to become longitudinally movably in a backwardly biased condition; both the rear end of the ink storage tube and the tail plug are inserted into the rotary member; and the tail plug abuts on an inner surface of the rotary member.

    摘要: A marker-making kit for assembling a marking device having a user-determined mixture of marking solution is provided. The kit includes a base unit coupled to a marker positioning mechanism and a press mechanism. A mixing tube holder secures a mixing tube used for collecting a desired amount of one or more marker fluids. A mixed marker solution is combined, including any number of different colors of marker fluid, and used to saturate a marker reservoir. The saturated reservoir may then be transferred to a maker barrel positioned near the press mechanism. By applying an amount of force with a marker compression arm, a completed marker is secured, enclosing the marker reservoir inside a marker barrel.

    摘要: A shell formed of plastic material of a type which is highly impermeable to solvents found in certain ink compositions forms the body of a pen. A follower and wiping element is placed in the bore of the shell through its rear end opening and a charge of ink is introduced into the shell through its forward ball point assembly receiving opening. A ball point assembly is then snap fitted into this opening. The bore ofthe shell rearwardly of the follower is pressurized substantially above atmospheric pressure and then closed under such pressure by the insertion in the rear end portion of the bore of a closure plug which is secured and sealed by spin welding.
