In einer Aufnahme (3), in welcher der Packmaterialzuschnitt (4) verarbeitungsgerecht bereitgehalten wird, wird der Zuschnitt vor dem Aufprall eines Artikels (2) mittels eines beweglichen Mundstücks (23) in Förderrichtung (13) des Artikels (2) beschleunigt und durch gleichzeitiges Schwenken zweier zusammen mit dem Mundstück (23) bewegbarer Faltplatten (47, 48) über das Mundstück (23), das sich mit seinen längsverlaufenden Vorderkanten (73) an die einen ersten Flächenabschnitt (62) des Zuschnitts begrenzenden Faltlinien (72a, 72b) anlegt, vorgeknickt, bevor der Zuschnitt U-förmig um den Artikel (2) herumgelegt wird. Gleichzeitig wird durch das Schwenken der Faltplatten (47, 48) der Zuschnitt an zwei weiteren Faltlinien (72c, 72d) vorgeknickt, so daß gleichzeitig alle längslaufenden Faltlinien des Zuschnitts vorgeknickt werden.
Der Vorteil besteht darin, daß die Geräuschentwicklung des Einstoßvorganges herabgesetzt und im selben Arbeitsgang gleichzeitig das Herumfalten des Zuschnitts um den Artikel (2) erleichtert wird.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a pack of smoking articles. The method comprises providing a planar blank of an inner support frame comprising a front panel and a rear panel connected by a bottom panel, and folding the front and rear panels together about the bottom panel to form an inner support frame in a receiving configuration. In the receiving configuration, the front and rear panels diverge in a direction away from the bottom panel and define an opening remote from the bottom panel. The method includes inserting a bundle of smoking articles through the opening into the inner support frame and folding the front and rear panels together about the bottom panel from the receiving configuration to an enclosed configuration to enclose the bundle of smoking articles. The method includes wrapping the bundle of smoking articles and inner support frame with a film to form a sealed pack of smoking articles. Also an apparatus for manufacturing a pack of smoking articles according to such a method.
