An article for treatment of an injured leg of a horse includes front (2) and rear (4) pivotally attached parts. The two parts form a cavity for receiving the leg when in a closed position and allow the leg to be received or removed when in an open position. In a first embodiment, one portion of the rear part receives the hoof of the leg, and the hoof is captured between lower portions of the front and rear parts as the front part is rotated toward the closed position but before the closed position is reached. In a second embodiment, the hoof of the leg is received by the front part. The capturing of the hoof before the front and rear parts are brought into full engagement allows the injured leg to be placed in tension to set the leg before the leg is fully encased in the inner lining of the article.

A releasable securing arrangement (1) for securing a moveable object, comprising a hook arrangement (2) to be attached to the moveable object, a releasable connection (3) to be attached to a fixed object, and a strap (4) extending between the hook arrangement (2) and the releasable connection (3). The hook arrangement (2) is attached to a first end section (4a) of the strap (4), and the releasable connection (3) is attached to an opposite, second end section (4b) of the strap (4). The releasable connection (3) comprises at least first (3a) and second (3b) interlocking parts, the first interlocking part (3a) being longitudinally spaced from the second interlocking part (3b) along the strap (4). A foldable strap area (4c) extends between the first interlocking part (3a) and the second interlocking part (3b). The foldable strap area (4c) is adapted for enclosing the fixed object, the first (3a) and second (3b) interlocking parts meeting and interlocking at one side of the fixed object. The interlocked first (3a) and second (3b) interlocking parts are configured to separate when force applied onto the releasable connection (3), by the moveable object, exceeds a predetermined force limit.

This document discloses a connector for use in equestrian equipment, such as bridles, reins, saddles and the like. The connector comprises an outer loop, and an inner loop, which is arranged inside the outer loop. The inner loop is more resilient than the outer loop, such that a connecting member received in the inner loop is resiliently moveable and limited by the outer loop. The inner loop is formed by an inner loop forming strap (4111, 4112, 4113, 4114, 4115) comprising a resilient portion (4112, 4113) which is formed of an elastically resilient material and a non-elastic portion (4111) which is formed of an essentially non-resilient material. The resilient and non-resilient portions (4112, 4113) are juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction of the inner loop forming strap. The part (4111) of the inner loop forming strap contacting the connecting member is formed by the non-resilient portion.
