摘要： Provided is a pneumatic tire that can provide improved high-speed steering stability, low rolling resistance, and high-speed durability and provide these performances in a highly compatible manner in reducing road noise by using PET fiber cords for a belt cover layer. In a pneumatic tire including a belt reinforcing layer (8) and a tread portion (1) made up of a cap tread layer (11) and an under tread layer (12), a cover cord constituting the belt reinforcing layer (8) is made of a polyethylene terephthalate fiber cord having an elongation ratio under a load of 2.0 cN/dtex at 100°C ranging from 2.0% to 4.0%, the under tread layer (11) is made up of rubber that is made of a rubber composition blending, per 100 parts by mass of rubber component, 35 parts by mass to 60 parts by mass of carbon black having a CTAB adsorption specific surface area of less than 70 m 2 /g and 3 parts by mass to 30 parts by mass of silica having the CTAB adsorption specific surface area of less than 180 m 2 /g and has a hardness at 20°C ranging from 60 to 65, a tensile stress at 100% elongation at 100°C ranging from 2.0 MPa to 4.0 MPa, and a product of a tensile strength at 100°C and an elongation at break at 100°C of 2000 or more.

摘要： Provided are: a rubber material for tires having excellent wear resistance; a masterbatch and a rubber composition for tires suitable for producing same; and a method for producing same. The masterbatch contains 13-130 parts by mass of hydrophilic fumed silica and 1-40 parts by mass of a silane coupling agent with respect to 100 parts by mass of a diene-based rubber. The rubber composition for tires contains 5-90 parts by mass of hydrophilic fumed silica and 1.5-30 parts by mass of a silane coupling agent with respect to 100 parts by mass of a diene-based rubber. The method for producing a masterbatch comprises a step for kneading a diene-based rubber, hydrophilic fumed silica, and a silane coupling agent using a kneader.
