摘要： A planar light-emitting device which comprises one or more substantially planar light-emitting regions, and one or more incident-light reflecting regions extending parallel with the light-emitting regions, characterized in that the light-emitting regions have the function of emitting light in an oblique direction and the incident-light reflecting regions have the function by which light incident in a particular direction is reflected toward the direction of incidence of the incident light. A light-emitting guide has the light-emitting device described above so that when attached, for example, to the wall surface of a tunnel, the light-emitting guide is capable of emitting light toward an automobile or the like traveling in the tunnel and moreover it is capable of retro-reflecting the light from the headlight of the automobile. Therefore, the light-emitting guide does not interfere with the traffic; it is superior in visibility.
