    摘要: In a burner 1 of an embodiment, a torch part 10 includes: a torch combustor liner 35 that is provided in a torch part casing and burns a fuel and an oxidant; a torch fuel supply part 25 that supplies a fuel; a torch oxidant supply part 20 that supplies an oxidant; an ignition device that ignites a fuel-air mixture; and a combustion gas pipe 40 that is arranged at the center of the torch part 10 and leads a combustion gas in the torch combustor liner 35 to one end side of the torch part 10. Amain fuel-main oxidant supply part 90 includes: a main fuel supply passage 100 formed in an annular shape on an outer periphery of the torch part 10; and a main oxidant supply passage 110 formed in an annular shape on an outer periphery of the main fuel supply passage 100.

    摘要: A gas turbine engine includes a variable inlet guide vane positioned forwardly of a low pressure compressor. The angle of the inlet guide vane is controlled at startup to increase airflow into the compressor. This is particularly useful when the gas turbine engine is being restarted while an associated aircraft is in the air, and is relied upon to increase windmill speed of the compressor and turbine rotors. A method and nozzle are also disclosed.
