The present invention includes door locks having a cam having three lobes, and to systems including such door locks. The outer lobes of the cam can limit the rotation of the cam. By limiting the rotation of the cam, the outer lobes can ensure that the cam is always ready for immediate activation. The outer lobes can also strike against outer pins of a locking mechanism to cause the cam to rotate with the locking mechanism when the locking mechanism is activated from the opposite side of the locking mechanism. The present invention also extends to methods of installing and using a door lock including three lobes.

The invention relates to a clamping/releasing flange that can be used to hold a plate panel on a machining stage, comprising a supporting body (1), a frame (2) that is position-adjustable in relation to the supporting body (1) in the clamping/releasing direction (SD), and a plurality of lugs (P1, P2) used for clamping and holding by being pressed into one of the lateral edges of the panel. The flange comprises, in a housing (20) formed in the frame (2), a mobile support (21) for supporting said clamping and holding lugs (P1, P2) at least partially emerging through a through-hole (22) of the frame, that ends in said housing (20), and means (3) for the continuous control of the movement, clamping, holding and release of the lugs in the clamping direction (SD). There is disclosed a fluctuation torque cancellation apparatus which positively cancels a torque fluctuation developing on an input shaft or an output shaft of a motion conversion apparatus for converting a continuous rotational motion of the input shaft into a predetermined-type rotational motion (e.g. intermittent rotational motion) of the output shaft. A torque compensation cam 5, fixedly mounted on a rotation shaft 4, continuous rotates when the rotation shaft 4 rotate, and a cam surface, formed on a peripheral surface of the torque compensation cam 5, reciprocally moves a slider 7 in a cylinder 9 while rotating a cam follower 6. As a result, a coil spring 12, mounted within the cylinder 9, is compressed and expanded, so that a pressing force of the cam follower 6 against the torque compensation cam 5 is varied, thereby cancelling a fluctuation torque applied to the rotation shaft 4, thus effecting a torque compensation for the motion conversion apparatus 2. When it is desired to vary the torque compensation value, the air is supplied from an air source 16 to an air chamber 17 in the cylinder 9 to add a pressing force by the air, so that the compensation torque is exerted on the rotation shaft, using both of the spring pressure and the air pressure.

The invention is characterized by a first member which comprises a rod-unit (4) or a corresponding element intended to move reciprocatingly, and the cam (2) which is attached to one end of the rod-unit, this cam having curve-shaped parts (20, 21) on solely the surface thereof remote from the rod-unit. A second member includes two mutually opposing wing-shaped parts (6, 7) which project outwardly away from the shaft and which are rigidly connected to the shaft (3). A roller (8, 9) or corresponding element is rotatably mounted on the outer part of each wing (6, 7). The rollers are intended to roll on the cam (2), therewith converting linear motion to rotary motion.

Für eine zyklisch umlaufende schrittweise Weiterbewegung der Werkstückhalter in eine durch Anschläge (17,18,19) definierte Position, in der an dem Werkstück ein Bearbeitungsvorgang durchgeführt bzw. das Werkstück aufgelegt oder abgenommen wird, ist der Schalttisch mit einem Schrittantrieb versehen. Um einen präzisen Schalttisch zu erhalten, der sich auch für eine geringe Zahl von Schalt-Stationen eignet, ist je ein Werkstückhalter auf einer rechteckigen Transportplatte (3) angebracht, die in Führungsnuten (15) eingreifende Elemente aufweist. Die Führungsleisten (14) und die Anschlagleisten (17) bilden für die hintereinander angeordneten Transportplatten (3) mehrere geradlinige, aneinander anschließende Bahnen in Form eines geschlossenen Polygons. Vorzugsweise erfolgt der Schrittantrieb für alle Bewegungen über eine einzige Kurvenscheibe.
