摘要: A holster (10) for a weapon such as an electric discharge weapon is made from two pieces (12, 14) joined together to form the holster end wall. The holster right piece (12) has a right end wall part (34) that is molded with both thin wall and also selected thick wall areas that are intentionally molded as thick wall areas. The holster left (14) piece has a left end wall part (36) that is molded to have both thin wall and also selected thick wall areas that are intentionally molded as thick wall areas. When assembled, thin wall areas of the left end wall part overlap thin wall areas of the right end wall part to thereby form a first thick wall region of the holster end wall. Thick wall areas of the right piece end wall part interfit with thick wall areas of the left piece end wall part to form a second thick wall region of the holster end wall.

摘要: A conducted electrical weapon ("CEW") launches wire-tethered electrodes to provide a current through a human or animal target to impede locomotion of the target. The current may ionize air in a gap. A gap may occur between terminals at a face of the CEW and/or between the electrodes positioned near target tissue. A CEW may include a detector to detect ionization of air in a gap. A CEW may use information related to detecting ionization to determine a location where the ionization occurred. Information regarding location of ionization may be used to determine whether the current was delivered through the target via the electrodes.
