In embodiments, the sensor is configured to switch temporarily and repeatedly the time-averaged proximity status flag to an inactive state when the value of the averaged or accumulated value yields an active state of the time-averaged proximity status flag. This feature improves the connectivity when the sensor is used to limit the RF emission of mobile devices.

    摘要： A sensor system for a fingerboard latch assembly comprises a sensor assembly and a processor. The sensor assembly comprises: a sensor that senses the position of the latch; a sensor circuit connected to the sensor and which derives a signal representing the position of the latch; and a communication circuit that communicates the signal representing the position of the latch. The processor determines at least one parameter of the motion of the latch from the signal representing the position of the latch, including at least one of speed of the latch, acceleration of the latch, overshoot of the latch or vibration of the latch. The processor analyses the determined parameter of the motion of the latch and on the basis thereof makes a prediction of failure of the latch and/or of a condition of the latch.

The operating device (3) also comprises a transmitter (14) adapted to send a proximity signal to be received as input by the sensor means (13) for controlling the switching means (5) when said transmitter (14) is place at a predetermined minimum distance from the sensor means (13). The locking mechanism (9) also comprises an inner passage (29) adapted to allow the passage of means for connecting the sensor means (13) with the switching means (5) avoiding the interference with the unlocking means (10).
