    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for secure Application-to-Person, A2P, short messaging service, SMS, communication at a network node. The method comprises receiving an A2P SMS from an A2P sender for delivery to a subscriber and determining that the A2P SMS requires secure A2P SMS delivery to the subscriber. The method also comprises encrypting a payload of the A2P SMS using at least one pre-shared key, PSK, and an encryption algorithm, wherein the at least one PSK and the encryption algorithm have been securely provided to a SIM associated with the subscriber. The method further comprises encoding the encrypted A2P SMS payload to obtain an encoded A2P SMS payload and relaying the encoded A2P SMS payload to the SIM. A method for communication at a subscriber device comprising a SIM associated with a subscriber.

The malware detection logic may report an alarm to the security client of the destination device. The malware detection logic may prevent an application associated with the destination device from processing the message.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for delivering user equipment (UE) new radio (NR) security capabilities and mobility management entity interworking. In the embodiments, adding the UE NR security capabilities in a new information element over a non-access stratum (NAS) is compatible with a legacy mobility management entity and eliminate any potential of bidding-down attack and is more advantageous and serves the security solution better. As long as the UE is connected to the long term evolution (LTE) and all UE security capabilities including LTE security capabilities have been replayed correctly and successfully in the NAS security mode command (SMC) message, the UE may not consider the absence of the UE NR security capabilities in the NAS SMC as a security vulnerability.

    Abstract: Embodiments are directed to determining a risk of encountering malware based on social context, to determining malware threats based on social associations and to ranking antimalware programs according to the program's ability to protect against specific threats. In one scenario, a computer system receives a malware notification associated with a user that identifies a type of malware encountered by the user. The computer system identifies various persons that are part of a social group associated with the user and determines that at least one of the identified persons associated with the user has an increased likelihood of encountering the identified type of malware, based on information derived from identifying the persons that are part of the social group. Optionally, the computer system notifies the identified persons of the increased likelihood of encountering the identified type of malware.
