    摘要： A fire extinguishing system for an energy storage device having a battery rack for a battery module, the fire extinguishing system including a sensing unit configured to detect when a value of one or more of a temperature of the battery module, a voltage of the battery module, or a level of smoke from the battery module is higher than a preset threshold value; and a fire extinguishing unit configured to provide a fire extinguishing agent to the battery module when the sensing unit detects that the value is higher than the preset threshold value, the fire extinguishing unit including a heat-sensitive member. The heat-sensitive member is positioned at a battery cell vent hole for a battery cell in the battery module. The heat-sensitive member is configured to allow the fire extinguishing agent into the vent hole by being melted when a temperature of the heat-sensitive member is higher than a predetermined temperature.

    摘要： A residential sidewall sprinkler and system for a coverage area defined by a pair of parallel vertical walls. The sprinkler includes a body having a passageway defining a K-factor of about 6. The body has an inlet coupled to a fluid supply line and a distal end coupled to a deflector assembly. The deflector assembly includes a face portion with an upper canopy and a lower canopy disposed about the face portion. The sprinkler is mounted to one of the walls to define a ceiling-to-deflector distance ranging from about four inches to about twelve inches. The fluid supply at the inlet is at least at one of a substantially constant flow rate of fluid and substantially constant fluid pressure. The deflector assembly distributes the fluid over the coverage area so as to wet the vertical walls within about twenty-eight inches of the ceiling over the ceiling-to-deflector range.
