摘要: System and method relates to a firewater monitor brake system, comprising a vertical locking disc collar adapted to be affixed externally or internally to a horizontal swivel of a firewater monitor system; a horizontal locking disc collar adapted to be affixed externally or internally to a vertical swivel of the firewater monitor system; a vertical brake mount adapted to be affixed to a horizontal swivel mounting pad of the firewater monitor system; a horizontal brake mount adapted to be affixed to a vertical swivel mounting pad of the firewater monitor system; a vertical brake system; wherein the vertical brake system is affixed to the vertical brake mount such that a portion of the vertical brake system is disposed around a portion of the vertical locking disc collar; a horizontal brake system, wherein the horizontal brake system is affixed to the horizontal brake mount such that a portion of the horizontal brake system is disposed around a portion of the horizontal locking disc collar; and a master cylinder adapted to be affixed to a tiller bar of the firewater monitor system, wherein the master cylinder is connected to and/or coupled to a lever system and wherein the master cylinder is connected to and or coupled to the vertical brake system and/or the horizontal brake system via an actuation system. Methods for making and using the system are also disclosed.

摘要: Here, an apparatus for mixing pressurised fluid and an additive is presented. The apparatus (2) includes an inlet (5) for the feed-in of pressurised fluid, an additive container (10a, 10b) and an outlet (6) for the output of the mixture of the pressurised fluid and the additive. The pressurised fluid is divided into a part conveyed to the additive container and a remaining part. The additive container (10a, 10b) is pressurised and additive is conveyed from the additive container (10a, 10b) into connection with said remaining part to form a mixture of the pressurised fluid and the additive, which mixture is conveyed to said outlet (6). The apparatus includes at least two additive containers (10a, 10b). By a valve arrangement (14), the additive is fed alternately from different additive containers (10a, 10b) into connection with the pressurised fluid.

摘要: The present invention refers to a method and system for ejecting carbon dioxide as High-Speed Jets with Sublimation. More specifically, the present invention describes a method and system capable of controlling and extinguishing fires from the CO 2 ejected. In summary, the proposed method comprises the steps of removing CO 2 in a first state (G) from the storage medium (2) and inserting the CO 2 in first state (G) in the driver set (3); maintaining the insertion of CO 2 in first state in the driver set (3) up to the equalization of the internal pressure between the storage medium (2) and the driver set (3); removing carbon dioxide in a second state (L) from the storage medium (2) and inserting the carbon dioxide in second state in the driver set (3) after the equalization of the pressure of the storage medium (2) and of the driver set; ejecting the CO 2 in the form of high-speed jets with high content of CO 2 in third state (S) through the driver set (3).

Um eine bekannte Vorrichtung zur Verteilung von Flüssigkeit dahingehend weiterzuentwickeln, diese in Reihe zu schalten und somit eine großflächige Benässung zu erzielen, ist eine erste Strebe (6a) des Gestells (5) in einer ersten Richtung gegen das Zulaufrohr (2) abgestützt, und eine zweite Strebe (6b) in einer zweiten Richtung, welche entgegengesetzt der ersten Richtung ist, gegen das Zulaufrohr (2) abgestützt. Die Strömungsachse (B) des Anschlusses (3a) verläuft horizontal in einer Achsrichtung quer zu der ersten und der zweiten Richtung.
