摘要： The present invention provides a novel structure of a tape cartridge (10) accommodating a printing tape (T) and an ink ribbon (R) used for printing, which prevents the printing tape from being stuck in a cartridge case or the ink ribbon (R) from being slackened. The tape cartridge (10) of the invention has a mechanism for preventing an end of the tape from being reversely moved back into the cartridge case. A typical structure of the mechanism includes an anti-inversion system which prevents a tape core having a tape wound thereon from rotating in a reverse direction, that is, a direction opposite to a normal rotating direction for printing. The anti-inversion effects are removed when the tape cartridge (10) is set in a printing device such as a tape writer to ensure smooth feeding of the tape for printing. When the tape is forcibly pressed back into the cartridge case, a movable platen clamps the tape between the platen and a fixed wall to prevent reverse movement of the tape. The tape cartridge of the invention also includes an anti-slack mechanism for preventing slack of the ink ribbon (R) through engagement of a ribbon winding core with an anti-rotational engagement piece. Engagement of this anti-slack mechanism is also released when the tape cartridge is set in the printing device.

摘要： A cassette (11) for a printing ribbon (33) for typewriters comprises a casing (12) accommodating a supply spool (34), a receiving spool (36) and a brake and take up device (39) which operates on a tube (37) of the supply spool (34) and on the ribbon (33) which is unwound from the supply spool (34). The tube (37) is rotatable on a sleeve (38) projecting from the bottom (13) of the casing (12) . The brake and take up device (39) comprises a shoe (47) for applying a braking action to an internal surface (41) of the tube (37). A wire spring (48) has an intermediate portion (52) which engages in a seat (56) of coupling means (46) of the shoe (42). In a first position the shoe (42) is urged against the surface (41) of the tube (37) and brakes the supply spool (34). In a second position the shoe (42) is spaced from the internal surface (41) of the tube (37) and the supply spool (34) is free to rotate. The spring (48) also performs the slack ribbon take-up function and for that purpose comprises an end (54) having an L-shaped bent portion (55) which in turn is engaged with the ribbon (33) to regulate the tension and unwinding of the ribbon (33) which is unwound from the supply spool (34).

摘要： A combination of a printer and a ribbon cassette (45) has a mechanism for preventing a portion of the inked ribbon extending between a supply core (51) and a take-up core - (62) of the ribbon cassette (45) from shifting in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the inked ribbon with respect to a printing head (40). The mechanism is constituted by a substantially planar surface of the platen - (13), and the printing head (40) is urged against the planar surface of the platen through the inked ribbon portion and a sheet (32) to which solid ink in the area on the inked ribbon portion is transferred by the printing head (40). The width of that area on the inked ribbon portion in the widthwise direc- ion of the inked ribbon is at most equal to a half of the width of the inked ribbon. Alternatively, the mechanism (400) is constitued by a mechanism operative in response to the variation in diameter of the inked ribbon wound on the supply core (51) for applying a variable back tension in the reverse direction to the tension acting on the inked ribbon portion by the take-up core (62).

摘要： An improved winding mechanism for a rolled tape-like web such as a composite label web, a composite tag web or a carbon ribbon, for example, in a label printing machine or the like. With the winding mechanism, the slackening or stretching of the tape-like web can be avoided when same is wound up from a feeding section (B) to a winding section (A). The winding mechanism is provided with a transmitting means (10) to transmit force, which is opposite to the direction of the feeding of the tape-like web to the feeding section and a braking device (19) in which braking members are urged towards each other by a spring force and comprise different coefficients of friction. The braking device is attached to the feeding section or both the feeding section and the winding section. Preferably, said transmitting means is a helical spring belt which is stretched around a winding pulley and a feeding pulley, said braking device is fitted between the feeding pulley and a feeding shaft for a tape-like web.
