The present invention discloses a sensor assembly for a passenger conveying device, a safety system and the passenger conveying device, wherein the sensor assembly (300) comprises an optical fiber (16) disposed along a length of a skirt board of the passenger conveying device; a light source (21) disposed at a first end of the optical fiber (16), light of the light source being incident into the optical fiber; and an optical receiver (22) disposed at the first end of the optical fiber (16), the optical receiver (22) receiving backwards scattered light from the optical fiber and being capable of sensing a signal indication of the backwards scattered light, wherein the optical fiber (16) is associated with a sensing element such that the sensing element causes deformation of the optical fiber when the sensing element is subjected to a pressure (P), and the optical receiver (22) is capable of sensing a change in the signal indication of the backward scattered light caused by the deformation of the optical fiber (16). The present invention can sense a situation in which foreign matters are clamped between the skirt board and a foot board of the passenger conveying device at the earliest time and take countermeasures in time.

A valve stem including a bore and a plurality of lubricant outlets is generally arranged within the shaft opening. The bore is configured to fluid couple the input opening to each of the lubricant outlets. Each lubricant outlet is associated with and configured to provide lubricant to at least one of the plurality of output openings at a distinct position of the valve stem. The lubrication system may include multiple lubricant distributors connected by a lubrication fluid circuit having a pump, motor and lubricant source.

The invention relates to a safety device for transport systems comprising walkways and stairs by means of moving elements (1, 2) with longitudinal movements in which there is the possibility that said moving elements (1, 2) undergo tilting movements in relation to an operating direction. A safety counter-guide (7) is arranged on the moving elements (1, 2), preventing the upwards tilting of the moving elements (1, 2) and further having a lower sensor (8) in the form of a band that generates a stop signal for the system upon coming into with moving elements (1, 2). Therefore the moving elements (1, 2) cannot tilt in an upwards direction, preventing possible risks both for the user and for the mechanical system, and due to a possible tendency to said tilting caused by any anomaly, the system is automatically stopped.
