摘要： The present invention relates to the field of passenger conveyor technologies, and provides an engaging state detection system of a passenger conveyor and a detection method thereof. In the engaging state detection system and detection method, a depth sensing sensor (310 1 , 310 n ) is used to sense at least an engaging portion between a step (904) and a comb plate (903) of the passenger conveyor (900) to obtain depth maps, and the depth maps are analyzed by a processing apparatus (100) to detect whether an engaging state between the step (904) and the comb plate (903) is a normal state. The detection of the engaging state includes detection on whether comb teeth of the comb plate are broken, whether engaging teeth of the step are broken, and/or whether a foreign matter exists on an engaging line.

摘要： Safety device and method for preventing accidents in the combplate area of escalators or moving walkways. The safety device comprises:
- at least one capacitor (8), each one formed by a first capacitor plate in contact with a combplate (2) or floor plate of an escalator or moving walkway (1) and a second capacitor plate (9) connected to a reference voltage;
- a capacitance measuring module (7) for measuring the capacitance (C) of the at least one capacitor (8), obtaining at least one capacitance signal (20);
- a controller (6) configured for comparing each capacitance signal (20) with at least one predefined value (22) and, based on said comparison, deciding whether a dangerous situation has occurred, and in that case sending the escalator or moving walkway (1) a warning signal or a stop order signal.

摘要： A walkway comprises at least one flat belt entrained around rollers, and a termination plate at the discharge end of the belt. The termination plate has a substantially straight leading edge which lies adjacent to the surface of the belt at a position at which the belt passes around the roller at the discharge end, the leading edge being spaced from the belt by a gap and the leading edge portion of the plate being shaped that the edge portion defines with the adjacent portion of the belt a nip of small depth in a vertical direction. Closure means are provided adjacent the underside of the leading edge portion of the termination plate to close from below the gap between the leading edge of the termination plate and the belt. The closure means is movable and is biased into a position in which the closure means lies closely adjacent to the belt, the closure means when closely adjacent the belt preventing ingestion of matter between the belt and the termination plate and the closure means being movable away from the belt against the bias under the effect of matter ingested between the belt and the closure means. Switch means is responsive to displacement of the closure means away from the belt by more than a predetermined distance upon ingestion of matter therebetween whereby to cause stoppage of the belt.
