    [Solution] A main control unit 18 sets an operation mode of a wireless audio player 1 to a normal mode or a BGM mode. When the operation mode of the wireless audio player 1 is set to BGM mode, an effect processing unit 16 subjects an audio signal that has been inputted from an audio reproduction unit 12 through a mode switching unit 17, the audio signal being a reproduction signal of audio data to be reproduced, to an effect process on the basis of music information of audio data to be reproduced as notified by a music information acquisition unit 14, and outputs the result from a speaker unit 13, the effect process including at least any one selected from dynamic range compression, high frequency and low frequency cutting, the addition of distortion, the addition of bubble popping noise, and a change in the reproduction pitch.
