    摘要: Embodiments of this application provide a service data processing method. The method includes: receiving service data; obtaining a processing manner for processing the service data; performing first timeslot-based multiplexing, bit width conversion, and second timeslot-based multiplexing on the service data when a bandwidth of the service data is less than a first threshold, to obtain an intermediate frame; performing single-level timeslot-based multiplexing on the service data when the bandwidth of the service data is not less than the first threshold, to obtain the intermediate frame; mapping the intermediate frame to an OTN frame; and sending the OTN frame. A first bit width and a first bandwidth based on which the first timeslot-based multiplexing is performed are different from a second bit width and a second bandwidth based on which the second timeslot-based multiplexing and the single-level timeslot-based multiplexing are performed. The first threshold is greater than or equal to 50 megabits per second Mbps and less than or equal to 200 Mbps. Different processing manners are used for service data whose bandwidth meets different conditions, to flexibly process the service data.

    摘要: This application discloses a method for processing low-rate service data in an optical transport network, an apparatus, and a system, to resolve a problem that an existing method for carrying a low-rate service is complex. The method includes: first, mapping low-rate service data into a newly defined low-rate data frame, where a rate of the low-rate data frame matches a rate of the low-rate service data, the data frame includes an overhead area and a payload area, the payload area is used to carry the low-rate service data, a rate of the payload area in the low-rate data frame is not less than the rate of the low-rate service data, and the rate of the low-rate service data is less than 1 Gbps; then, mapping the low-rate data frame into one or more slots in another data frame, where a rate of the slot is not greater than 100 Mbps; and finally, mapping the another data frame into an optical transport unit (OTU) frame and sending the OTU frame. According to the low-rate service processing method disclosed in this application, a new OTN frame may be directly used to carry a service. This reduces sending and processing complexity, and a processing speed is relatively high.

    摘要: A communication method and device, and a chip system are provided, to adjust, by adjusting a quantity of slot resources included in a multiframe, a bandwidth resource corresponding to one multiframe. A first communication device in this application sends a first request message. The first request message is used to request to adjust a quantity of basic frames in a multiframe included in a second block sequence. The first communication device multiplexes, based on S 1 slot resources corresponding to the adjusted multiframe in the second block sequence, Q1 first block sequences corresponding to a slot resource in the S 1 slot resources, to obtain and send the second block sequence. The quantity of basic frames in the multiframe may be adjusted. In other words, a quantity of slot resources corresponding to data carried in one multiframe may be adjusted. In other words, the bandwidth corresponding to one multiframe may be adjusted. Therefore, a bandwidth of a service corresponding to the multiframe may be further adjusted based on the adjusted bandwidth corresponding to the multiframe.
