PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce coupling loss when a plurality of input signals are to be coupled. SOLUTION: This optical coupler 1 has a plurality of incident waveguides 21-1 to 21-n, a coupling section 23 which optically couples the incident waveguides and a light emitting waveguide 22 which is connected to the coupling section. The refractive index of a clad 32 of the light emitting waveguide and the refractive index of at least a portion of a substrate 10 are regulated to be smaller than the refractive index of a clad 31 (the substrate 10) of the incident waveguide. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an open-celled polyurethane foam sealing material which is air-permeable but excellent in waterproof properties by reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate in the presence of a specific foam stabilizer and a blowing agent. CONSTITUTION:This material with an air permeability at a 10mm thickness of 20ml/cm /sec or lower is obtd. by reacting a polyol (e.g. a polydiene polyol) with a polyisocyanate (e.g. tolylene diisocyanate) in the presence of a slow- reacting silicone compd. having isocyanate- or hydroxyl-reactive groups reacting slower than hydroxyl groups (e.g. a compd. of the formula) as the foam stabilizer and a blowing agent (e.g. pentane). Because of the slow-reacting foam stabilizer the material requires only a weak demolding power in foam molding and can be demolded by applying a small amt. of a mold release agent.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belleville spring and its manufacturing method provided with a rotation prevention tooth capable of having high durability on an outer periphery. SOLUTION: A shot-peening worked surface 12 is formed on a base part of the tooth 11 by performing shot-peening working. Residual stress is given onto the shot peening worked surface 12 and when the belleville spring 1 is arranged between a driven plate of a clutch mechanism and a piston, high fatigue strength can be exhibited. Further, since a sharp edge of the base part of the tooth 11 is removed, concentration of stress generated on the base part of the tooth 11 can be relaxed. Further, since sharp edges of an outer peripheral edge of a body 10 supported on the driven plate and the tooth 11 and an inner peripheral edge of the body supported on the piston are not removed, each of a support position of the driven plate at the outer peripheral edge of the body 10 and a support position of the piston at the inner peripheral edge of the body 10 is not deviated from a predetermined design position in a radial direction. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the decrease of write signal frequency characteristics, while suppressing electrostatic discharge breakdown of a read side element without using a neutralization device. SOLUTION: A head suspension 1 is provided with a load beam which gives a load to a head having a slider for writing and reading information to a hard disk, and a flexure 7 of a conductive sheet supporting the slider connected to wirings 29, 31 for writing and reading and attached to the load beam. In the head suspension 1 of which the wirings 29, 31 are located on the flexure 7 via a base insulating layer 35 of flexible resin, coatings 43, 45 of conductive flexible resin for discharging static electricity are formed over a surface 47 of the flexure 7 in the reading wiring 31 side. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent theft effectively by incorporating a storage structure for cash and other valuables into the mounting structure of a child seat. SOLUTION: A vehicle seat is structured so that the child seat can be mounted on the seat by engaging a hook provided on the child seat with an anchor 11 fixed to the seat or the vehicle body. The arrangement includes a cut 13 penetrating a pad 9 of the seat so as to take a position mating with the anchor 11 and admitting insertion of the hook, a cover skin 15 installed on the seating side of the seat as stretching in the width direction, with the top sewn up to the skin 10 covering the pad 9 in such a manner as dangling, and thereby covering the cut 13 from the seating side, and an engaging member installed on the back face of the cover skin 15 and on the front face of the skin 10 and holding the cut 13 in the covered condition with the cover skin 15 through engagement with each other. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate assembly for a heat exchanger allowing surely brazing the first plate and the second plate. SOLUTION: This plate assembly 12 for the heat exchanger is constituted by stacking a plurality of heat transfer modules 21 along a thickness direction. The heat transfer module 21 is constituted by stacking the first plate 31 and the second plate 32. A through-hole 80 is formed in one of the plates 31, 32, and a burring working part 81 is formed in the other thereof. The burring working part 81 is inserted into the through-hole 80, the burring working part 81 is thereafter bent to be overlapped with an edge part of the through-hole 80 to be worked crushedly. The burring working part 81 is brazed thereafter to the edge part of the through-hole 80. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket which has excellent productivity and excellent workability when installing it in sealed part and makes up loss of material used as little as possible and realizes low cost. SOLUTION: The gasket 20 includes a resin film 3 and an elastic body 4 formed to fuse on one side of the resin film 3. It is characterized in that the resin film 3 is punched along shape of the elastic body 4 or that of outside the elastic body 4.
