Abstract: PURPOSE:To tape in succession to the process of a strip member while a tape is folded to an edge of the strip member by passing the adhesive tape through a die which an entrance angle is obtuse and an exit has a narrow channel from the edge face with a pressing roller. CONSTITUTION:When single adhesive insulating tapes 7 and 8 are taped to the edges of a strip conductor 3 of a taping machine, bonding tapes drawn from tape hoops 9 and 10 wound on a single side with an adhesive tape is pressure from end directions b1 and b2 of each strip conductor 3 with edge pressing rollers 11 and 12. The tapes 7 and 8 sent by the movement of the strip conductor 3 are passed through V channel forming dies 13 and 14 in which an angle of an entrance 14A is obtuse, an angle of an exit 14B is sharper than that of the entrance 14A and whose thickness is an addition of the strip conductor 3 and the tapes 7 and 8. The moment the edge of the strip conductor 3 of the zonal material is folded, the tapes 7 and 8 are taped in succession to the process of the strip conductor 3.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture a winding coil without exfoliation of fused film of wire or deteriorating smooth sliding of wire by bonding the wires by spraying a solvent to the area where the wire is wound to the bobbin. CONSTITUTION:The one end of wire 1 is held by a guide rotor 4 and an engaging pin 5, owing to an activating force of a compression spring 6. When a motor is started, the spindle shaft 3 rotates clockwise as indicated by (a). Thereby the wire 1 is guided by a side plate 9 and is wound around bobbin 8 as indicated by the dotted line. Since, the spraying air and solvent are supplied simultaneously as indicated by (b) and (c), a mixed gas of solvent is sprayed from the nozzle 14 to the winding part of wire 1 of bobbin. Therefore, the wire is wound like an ordered belt wire without deteriorating smooth sliding of wire 1 and exfoliation of fused film.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate insulation easily and improve the manufacturing accuracy of the whole coil by a method wherein prepreg is placed between turns when a coil conductor is wound and after the winding is completed the coil is pressed and fixed and treated by heat and then two coiled conductors are insulated and fixed by prepreg placed between them. CONSTITUTION:Prepreg 52, cut to fit the shape of the side of a hollow conductor 51, is prepared and put on one side of the hollow conductor 51, which is wound spirally in such a manner that the prepreg comes to the lapped side of the conductor 51. With this method, a single-pancake coil 53, whose circumference side is not insulated, is obtained. Before a double-pancake coil is made by piling two single-pancake coils 53 concentrically, prepareg sheet, cut to fit the shape of the piled surface of the single-pancake coil 53, is put on the piled surface. After that the pancake coils 53 are piled so that the two coils are insulated by prepreg.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect the end position of an insulating sheet securely and with a high accuracy by a photodetector by introducing a non-transparent high molecular film as an insulation between each of turns of a metallic sheet. CONSTITUTION:The width of a metal sheet 2, which forms a foil-shape low voltage or high voltage winding, is so formed as to be narrower than that of an insulating sheet 21 by (l) at its both sides. A non-transparent high molecule film is used as the insulation sheet 21. When an edge part 23 of the insulation sheet 21 is detected by a photodetector 22, a light from a light source 22a of the photodetector 22 hits a particle of the high molecular film and the light which hits the particle of the high molecular film shields the light by diffused reflection so that the position of the edge part of the insulating film 21 can be confirmed by the detecter 22b.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve adhesive property without damaging the productivity and heat-resisting property of the coil by using a specific phosphate group compound having compatibility to a phenoxy resin in place of a solvent in case of use in combination of a conduction heating method and a solvent bonding method. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a self-welding insulating electric wire formed by baking synthetic resin, the principal ingredient thereof is the phenoxy resin, as a welding layer is coated with the phosphate group compound. A coil such as a deflecting coil is formed through conduction heating. A substance, which has compatibility to a phenoxy resin group welding layer composition, has weak permeability to the welding layer at a temperature close to normal temperature and permeability thereof increases at a temperature close to a minimum temperature of 70 deg.C unevenly distributed in a coil section on conduction heating, is preferable as the phosphate group compound, and a substance shown in a general formula is used (R1-R3 in the formula each represent 6-8C alkyl group of aryl group).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the insulation treating time and elevate reliability to the voltage class upgrading of interlayer withstand voltage, by a method wherein an insulation cap of ?-shaped cross-section is molded and fitted between the conductors. CONSTITUTION:In order to follow curvature variation of a conductor 1 sufficiently, an insulation cap 12 of ?-shaped cross-section is previously molded using material, such as mica sheet, polyamide sheet or glass cloth, impregnated with thermosetting resin and the impregnated resin is put to semihardened state. The insulation cap 12 in this state is fitted to the conductor 1 and a required number of the caps are overlaid and combined, and then an insulator to the ground is formed by taping of mica tape or the like. Finally, heating is performed thereby hardening reaction of the impregnated resin in the insulation cap 12 starts and accompanying this reaction, resin is exuded out of the insulator cap 12 and adhered to the conductor 1 so as to integrate the whole apparatus firmly.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a high current density of a molded coil by covering a coil with prepreg insulating paper, thermally curing the paper, molding the coil with molding synthetic resin, thus minimizing the thermal stress produced in the molding resin layer and enabling the use of copper as internal conductors. CONSTITUTION:Conductors are turned in the prescribed number of turns in a disc shape to form coiled conductor layers S1-Sn, and are axially laminated while existing infinitesimal gaps 4 between the layers S1 and S2-Sn-1 and Sn to form a coil 1. The inner and outer peripheries and upper and lower surfaces of the coil 1 thus formed are covered with prepreg resin layers 5 of semicured synthetic resin, and are heated to cure the layers 5. Thereafter, the entirety is molded with molding synthetic resin 6. Thus, the thermal stress produced at the molding resin can be minimized irrespective of the material of the conductor, and accordingly copper can be used as the conductors, thereby reducing the volume of the coil.
