    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the mechanical strength of an electromagnetic coil by winding a glass tape impregnated with thermosetting resin in semicured state to both side surfaces of an organic fibrous tape simultaneously with a bare conductor, and then heating them, thereby compositely insulating in a simple step. CONSTITUTION:A glass tape 4 impregnated with thermosetting resin in semicured state to both side surfaces of an organic fibrous tape 3 is wound simultaneously with a conductor 1 at the winding time. The tape 3 uses a polyamide tape, and the glass tape uses, for example, that impregnated with epoxy resin mixture in semicured state. After completing the winding, the semicured resin is cured by heating, thereby obtaining an interlayer insulating layer 2 adhered between the adjacent conductors.
