PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of achieving high efficiency by preventing as much as possible magnetic flux from flowing into a gap between adjacent wound conductor parts even without inserting a magnetic core made of magnetic material.SOLUTION: The winding apparatus includes: a winding having a plurality of wound conductor parts made of conductive material having a predetermined wound pattern; and an isolation layer made of an insulation material made by processing a diamagnetic conductive material to turn into a non-conductive material, lying between a pair of mutually adjacent wound conductor parts among the plurality of wound conductor parts which constitute the winding.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing an inductor includes a lamination step, a division step, a firing step, and a plating step. In the lamination step, a laminate including an insulator, a coil body, and external electrodes is formed. That is, in the lamination step, insulating layers having wide filling conductors, insulating layers having narrow filling conductors, and conductor patterns having external electrode patterns are laminated. As a result, the conductor patterns form the coil body, and the wide filling conductors, the narrow filling conductors, and the external electrode patterns form the external electrodes. The narrow filling conductors have a width that is less than the widths of the wide filling conductors and the external electrode patterns, and recesses and projections are provided in the external electrodes.

Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the mechanical strength of an electromagnetic coil by winding a glass tape impregnated with thermosetting resin in semicured state to both side surfaces of an organic fibrous tape simultaneously with a bare conductor, and then heating them, thereby compositely insulating in a simple step. CONSTITUTION:A glass tape 4 impregnated with thermosetting resin in semicured state to both side surfaces of an organic fibrous tape 3 is wound simultaneously with a conductor 1 at the winding time. The tape 3 uses a polyamide tape, and the glass tape uses, for example, that impregnated with epoxy resin mixture in semicured state. After completing the winding, the semicured resin is cured by heating, thereby obtaining an interlayer insulating layer 2 adhered between the adjacent conductors.
