Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for shaping processing of a fabric, especially a knit fabric comprising cellulosic fibers having excellent shaping properties for the fabric and washing resistance of the fabric after shaping and even excellent operating efficiency and to provide a processed fabric having excellent shaping properties.
SOLUTION: The method for shaping processing of the fabric comprises a step of impregnating the fabric containing ≥50wt.% of the cellulosic fibers, especially the knit fabric, with 5-150pts.wt. of an aqueous solution containing alkalis in an amount of 0.01-5wt.% based on 100pts.wt. of the fabric, and then carrying out the shaping processing while heating the fabric at 50-200°C. The shaping processed fabric containing the cellulosic fibers processed by the method for shaping processing is provided.
