SOLUTION: The termite-proofing sheet 10 is obtained by forming a composition comprising a regenerated butyl rubber and, incorporated therewith, boric acid and/or a boric acid compound into a sheet. The working method is simple one where the termite-proofing sheet 10 is wound around piping 62. The termite-proofing sheet 10 is reactively adhered to underfloor concrete 61 to leave no gaps. When the piping 62 or the underfloor concrete 61 displace, the termite-proofing sheet 10 follows the displacement to be distorted thereby hardly leaving gaps.
