Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that exhibits sufficient abrasion resistance necessary for a long-term use, suppresses the occurrence of filming, poor cleaning, and abnormal noise, has an excellent adhesive property to a substrate and an undercoat layer, shows quick response and a sufficiently low potential for an exposure part on electric characteristics, and has excellent gas resistance and an image memory property; an electrophotographic photoreceptor cartridge; and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer using a specific polyester resin as a binder resin is made to contain a charge transport material having a specific structure so as to exhibit good performance on mechanical characteristics and show a sufficiently low residual potential during exposure.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrophotographic photoreceptor that includes a surface layer containing a polymer obtained by polymerizing a compound having a chain polymerizable functional group, and satisfies suppression of black dots and suppression of potential variation at a high level after repeating use of the photoreceptor; and a manufacturing method of the electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a support, a photosensitive layer, and a surface layer containing a polymer obtained by polymerizing a compound having a chain polymerizable functional group. The compound having a chain polymerizable functional group includes a compound represented by the formula (1).
