PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that exhibits sufficient abrasion resistance necessary for a long-term use, suppresses the occurrence of filming, poor cleaning, and abnormal noise, has an excellent adhesive property to a substrate and an undercoat layer, shows quick response and a sufficiently low potential for an exposure part on electric characteristics, and has excellent gas resistance and an image memory property; an electrophotographic photoreceptor cartridge; and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer using a specific polyester resin as a binder resin is made to contain a charge transport material having a specific structure so as to exhibit good performance on mechanical characteristics and show a sufficiently low residual potential during exposure.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which contamination on an image carrier surface can be prevented even when, in a roller-type protective supply member having a foam layer, a contaminant such as a catalyst and a foam stabilizer bleeds out from the foamed layer, and thereby, images in good conditions can be output for a long period of time.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: an image carrier 1 carrying at least a toner image; and a supply member 22 for an image carrier protective agent 21, which applies or deposits the image carrier protective agent 21 on a surface of the image carrier 1. The supply member 22 for the image carrier protective agent 21 comprises a roller having a core bar 22A and a foam layer 22B disposed on an outer circumference of the core bar. The surface layer of the image carrier 1 is configured to include a layer comprising a crosslinked structure formed by curing a radical polymerizable monomer having no charge transporting structure and a radical polymerizable compound having a charge transporting structure.
