PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing glass for an automobile which has a shape capable of forming an almost ideal shape when it is fitted to the automobile body and locked, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The deformation amount of the opening and closing glass is searched by performing the structure analysis taking into consideration the positions and structures of hinges 2, gas stays 4, a weather strip 5, a striker 3 and the like, based on a glass shape 1 designed on CAD. Thereafter, the glass shape is modified based on the searched deformation amount. Thus, the glass shape becoming a shape nearly equal to a design drawing when it is fitted in a body is searched. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending method capable of preventing cracks from occurring in bending stainless-steel-wire-sealed glass plate. SOLUTION: The bending method is for bending stainless-steel-wire-sealed glass plate yielded by cutting raw sheet glass having a stainless steel net sealed therein. The stainless-steel-wire-sealed glass plate is bent in such a state that there is no carbon having attached to a part of the net having appeared in cutting the raw sheet glass, exposed at the end face of the sheet glass, and apart from the cutting surface by at least 20 mm. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bend a glass plate into a complicated shape without the occurrence of wrinkle or optical strain or the fusion to a molding die. SOLUTION: The bending of the glass plate is performed by pressing the glass plate heated to have viscosity ranging from ≥10 5 Pa s to ≤10 8 Pa s to the molding die having a prescribed bending molding surface. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of crack in a bending process for a stainless steel wired plate glass. SOLUTION: The method of bending the stainless steel wired plate glass includes a 1st heating process for heating to 280-320°C from room temperature and a 2nd heating process for heating to a bending temperature. The stainless steel wired plate glass free from the occurrence of crack is bent by controlling the temperature rising rate in the 1st heating process to 0.5-1.5 °C/min and the temperature rising rate in the 2nd heating process to 2.0-3.0 °C/min.
