    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for epoxidating an olefin compound highly productively.SOLUTION: A method for producing an epoxy compound by reacting a compound having a carbon-carbon double bond with hydrogen peroxide includes the following steps repeatedly or continuously. Step (1): reacting a compound having a carbon-carbon double bond and hydrogen peroxide in the coexistence of (a) the compound having a carbon-carbon double bond, (b) the hydrogen peroxide solution, (c) a solid carrier powder, and (d) a solid catalyst powder, or further (e) an organic solvent. Step (2): separating an epoxy compound from the reaction mixture of the step (1). Step (3): adding (d) the solid catalyst powder, and adding (a) the compound having a carbon-carbon double bond and (b) the hydrogen peroxide solution, or further (e) the organic solvent to a powder mixture composed of the solid carrier and the solid catalyst after the reaction product has been separated in the step (2).

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a multivalent glycidyl compound by oxidizing a multivalent allyl compound by the use of an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide as an oxidizing agent.SOLUTION: The method includes a step of using a multivalent allyl compound possessing three or more allyl groups as a substrate, a step of interrupting the reaction on the way of the epoxidation reaction and removing water in the reaction liquid, and a step of thereafter conducting the epoxidation reaction again. The hydrolysis of the glycidyl group of the reaction intermediate generated along with the course of the reaction is suppressed by removing water in the reaction liquid on the way of the reaction. Preferably the reaction is conducted in the presence of acetonitrile and alcohol.
