PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite seismically reinforcing structure for a pile foundation, which copes by taking hardening improvement as countermeasures against pile breakage with large ground deformation at the time of a huge earthquake, and at the same time ensures horizontal ground reaction of peripheral ground. SOLUTION: According to the seismically reinforcing structure, improved bodies 3 (3a, 3b, 3c) created according to a solidification method are arranged in the ground of the pile foundation 1 in a manner adjoining piles 2 at intervals in a depth direction. Then drain members 6 having water permeability is embedded in the peripheral ground of the pile foundation 1. Specifically the improved bodies 3a, 3b, 3c are arranged in the peripheral ground of the pile foundation 1, as well. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To work on a slope stably with a construction machine even if the construction machine is not provided with a mechanism for stable work on a slope. SOLUTION: A driven front wheel 3 is fitted to the front end of a vehicle body 2 formed into triangle with a side respective view, and a driven rear wheel 4 is fitted to the rear end of the vehicle body 2, and a driving upper wheel 5 is fitted to the apex of the vehicle body 2 over the space between the driven front wheel 3 and the driven rear wheel 4. The driving upper wheel 5 is rotated by a hydraulic motor 6, and a joint type crawler belt 8 is stretched between the driven front wheels 3, the driven rear wheels 4 and the driving upper wheel 5 to form triangle with a view from side. A loading inclined surface 9 inclined against a part of the joint type crawler belt 8 between the driven front wheel 3 and the driven rear wheel 4 is provided in the vehicle body 2. SOLUTION: The earthquake resistant ceiling structure has a ceiling joist receiver 12 hung from and held by a ceiling slab 28 via hanger bolts 26, cradling 14 mounted on the cradling holder 12, and ceiling members 16 mounted on the cradling 14. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely convey a segment from a segment transporting trolley to the vicinity of an erector, even if the segment transporting trolley is arranged in such a manner as to be planarly displaced sideward with respect to the center line of a shield tunnel, particularly, a small-diameter shield tunnel. SOLUTION: In the construction of the shield tunnel T, the segment transporting trolley 5 for loading the segment 3 is arranged in such a manner as to be planarly displaced sideward with respect to the center line of the shield tunnel T. Segment conveying equipment comprises a hoist rail 6 which is extended to the vicinity of the erector 2 from the trolley 5, and a hoist 7 which travels along the hoist rail 6 in the state of hanging the segment 3. A front end of the hoist rail 6 is planarly positioned on the center line of the shield tunnel T; an intermediate part thereof is planarly curved in an S-shape; and a back end thereof is planarly positioned on the center line of the segment transporting trolley. SOLUTION: This sloshing suppressing device includes a plate member 20, and a connecting member 30. In this case, the plate member 20 is provided with a first hole at the central section, and a plurality of second holes having a smaller diameter compared with the first hole from the central part to the edge part. The connecting member 30 includes a bendable bonding section 31, and is used for suspending/supporting the plate member 20 to the floating roof 12. The connecting member 30 may be constituted to include two rod-form members and three pin bonding sections. Then, one rod-form member and the floating roof 12, another rod-form member and the plate member 20, and two rod-form members are respectively bonded to each other with pins, and the connecting member 30 is made bendable. SOLUTION: This pumping apparatus comprises a strainer pipe 30 having a permeable strainer part 31 at the lower end and buried in the cohesive soil ground; a filter 20 formed at the outer periphery of the strainer pipe 30; a vacuum pump 33 exhausting the inside of the strainer pipe 30 to allow underground water to permeate the filter 20 to flow into the strainer pipe 30 from the strainer part 31; and a drain pipe 40 draining underground water to the ground by a drain pump 41 disposed in the strainer pipe 30. In the strainer pipe 30, a lower water gauge 34 is provided above the drain pump 41, and an upper water gauge 35 is provided above the lower water gauge 34. The driving of the drain pump 41 is started when the water level W in the strainer pipe 30 rises higher than the upper water gauge 35 and stopped when the water level W falls lower than the lower water gauge 34. SOLUTION: The apparatus for controlling sloshing includes sucking members 21 and 26 for sticking to a sidewall 20 in the container, and a detaching means attached to a rim of the floating roof 22 for connecting the sucking members 21 and 26 and bringing the members 21 and 26 into contact with or off from the sidewall 20. The method for controlling sloshing includes a step of bringing the members 21 and 26 into contact with the sidewall 20 by the detaching means attached to the rim of the floating roof 22 for bringing the members 21 and 26 sticking to the sidewall 20 in the container into contact with or off from the sidewall 20.
