PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for specifically measuring animal α-amylase measuring up to high concentration (up to 2500U/L) of animal samples without dilution, even when the samples contain animal α-amylase (EC 3.2.1.1) and glucoamylase (EC 3.2.1.3). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical analysis inspection strip equipped with a metal electrode having heightened hydrophilicity. SOLUTION: This electrochemical analysis inspection strip includes an electrical insulating substrate, and the metal electrode (for example, a gold electrode) provided on the surface of the electrical insulating substrate. The metal electrode has the upper surface equipped with a chemical component for heightening hydrophilicity. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a coating solution for a glucose sensing film wherein the activity of enzyme or the like is kept and respective components are dissolved uniformly by simple operation. SOLUTION: The coating solution for the glucose sensing film, which contains glucose oxidase or reductase, a reagent for producing a substance which reacts with a product due to this enzyme to develop the color of a color former, the color former and a film forming polymeric compound, is prepared using a process for preserving a first solution prepared by dissolving the enzyme and the reagent by a buffer solution, a process for preserving a second solution prepared by mixing an alcohol solution of the color former with a film forming polymeric compound solution and a process for mixing the first and second solutions when used. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new test piece for measurement of creatinine. SOLUTION: A porous material contains a compound represented by Formula (1), and a metal and a buffering agent which form a coloration complex with the compound. The coloration complex formed by the compound and metal is optically measured, and the degree of formation blocking of the coloring complex by creatinine is measured, thus measuring the amount of creatinine.
