PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic preparation device for blood-collecting tubes, equipped with a recovered blood-collecting tube housing part easily taken out by a user without increasing the width of the automatic preparation device. SOLUTION: The automatic preparation device for blood-collecting tubes is equipped with a blood-collecting tube housing means, a transfer means, a label printing and pasting means, a discharge means, a blood-collecting tube recovery mechanism, and a housing for housing them. The label printing and pasting means is arranged above the blood-collecting tube housing means. The recovered blood-collecting tube housing part for housing the recovered blood-collecting tubes is formed to the front part of the automatic preparation device between the label printing and pasting means and the blood-collecting tube housing means. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact device for measuring blood components capable of measuring a LH ratio in addition to LDL cholesterol and HDL cholesterol.SOLUTION: A compact device for measuring blood components measures blood components using a sensor card configured to detect total cholesterol, neutral fat and HDL cholesterol and/or LDL cholesterol in blood. The compact device for measuring blood components includes a housing comprising: a control section which detects or calculates the HDL cholesterol and/or LDL cholesterol and that calculates a LH ratio based on the detected or calculated HDL cholesterol and/or LDL cholesterol; and a display section which displays the calculated LH ratio.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen component analyzing device capable for sufficiently shortening a period of time it takes to take a specimen from a syringe into the analyzer.SOLUTION: A specimen component analyzing device includes: a syringe mounting part on which a syringe having collected a specimen can be mounted; a suction nozzle which is inserted into the syringe mounted on the syringe mounting part and sucks the specimen out of the syringe; a suction pump connected to the suction nozzle; a sensor for analyzing a component of the specimen sucked by the suction nozzle; and a control device which controls operation of at least the suction pump, the specimen component analyzing device being provided with means for measuring a flow rate of the specimen inside of the suction nozzle, the control device being configured to determine, on the basis of the flow rate, a period of time during which the specimen is sucked by the suction nozzle by operating the suction pump.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical measuring method capable of reducing the accumulation of a contaminant substance in a measuring cell caused by a sample, to the utmost, and capable of maintaining cleanness for keeping long-time optical measurement, and the optical measuring cell used for the measuring method. SOLUTION: In this optical measuring method concerned in the present invention for measuring an optical characteristic of the sample, by introducing the measured sample into an inside of the optical measuring cell to be irradiated with measuring light from an outside, an inner face contacting with the sample is coated with a titanium oxide film in the optical measuring cell, the optical measuring cell is formed of a material capable of transmitting a light of a required wavelength for at least the titanium oxide film to exhibit catalytic activity, and the light of the required wavelength for at least the titanium oxide film to exhibit the catalytic activity is emitted from the outside of the optical measuring cell to the titanium oxide film, before the measurement, during the measurement and/or after the measurement.
