    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject pharmaceutical preparation comprising a substance having mild arterialization-inhibiting action usable for a long period and useful for preventing metastasis and relapse of cancer. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical preparation comprises a substance having preventing action on arterialization, e.g. a fumagiol derivative represented by the formula (R is a hydrocarbon; R is a hydrocarbon or an acyl) or its salt. The fumagiol derivative or its salt is produced as a pharmaceutically permissible acid addition salt when the compound of the formula contains a basic salt and it is produced as a salt with similar base when the compound of the formula contain an acidic group. The compound of the formula is effective in treating and preventing various kinds of diseases such as tumor and the active amount is usually about 0.1-100wt.% based on total amount of preparation. The preparation is prepared in a tablet, fine particles, etc., according to an ordinary method.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and effectively purify the subject compound into a compound excellent in coloring preventing effect, useful as a raw material for a resin for a coating material, by treating a crude reaction solution prepared by epoxidizing cyclohexenylmethyl (meth)acrylate with an alkali to reduce a low-boiling component. SOLUTION: A compound of formula I (R is H or methyl) is epoxidized with an organic acid such as performic acid, peracetic acid, etc., to give a crude reaction solution containing a compound of formula II. The crude reaction solution is washed with water and treated with an alkali such as 0.1-10% aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide or sodium (hydrogen)carbonate, decompressed at 30-100 deg.C by a flashing pipe, etc., to make 3-50wt.% low-boiling component content.
