摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a high-speed supply deflecting device applicable to newspapers and magazines folded at least in part. CONSTITUTION: A pair of braking cylinders 1 and a pair of accelerating cylinders 2 are provided at a mutual angle of 90 degrees on the same plane. Sheets thrust at their rear ends between the pair of braking cylinders 1 are stopped by decelerating the cylinders 1. At the time when the sheets are stopped, the pair of accelerating cylinders 2 hold the sheets at their ends and accelerate the sheets at a new speed in 90-degree inclination to a forward direction. In this way, this device can be used for piling and disassembling the sheets. Practically, it is applied to supply the sheets from a printing machine to an aftertreatment trimmer, in particular.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a paper discharge control unit in an image recording device, which has a simple constitution and can perform an accurate control operation. CONSTITUTION:In an image recording device provided with a rotary drum 13 and paper discharge rollers 92, 93, driven to rotate by a pulse motor to which driving pulses generated under control of a central processing unit are fed, operation timing of respective constituents thereof is determined by a counted value of pulse motor driving pulses counted by a pulse counter which is cleared at a home position of the rotary drum 13. In a paper discharge process, a recording paper sheet 3 is pressed to a surface of the rotary drum 13 by means of a recording paper pressing roller 15 and, when a tip of the paper sheet 3 approaches a predetermined position of a bottom plate 69 of a paper discharging part, peripheral speed of the paper discharge rollers 92, 93 is decreased, while an air discharge operation is applied to a tip region of the paper sheet 3 to separate the tip thereof from a peripheral surface of the rotary drum 13. After the tip of the paper sheet 3 is introduced on the bottom plate 69 of the paper discharging part, peripheral speed of the rotary drum 13 is set to equal to or slightly lower than that of the paper discharge rollers 92, 93.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a sheet stacking device by which the top end part of a subsequent sheet is inserted completely above the rear end part of a preceding sheet for carrying out neat sheet stacking. CONSTITUTION:This sheet stacking device is provided with plural bottom support belts 42a which are disposed in parallel to each other at the exit side of a deceleration device 14 connected to the rear end of a sheet conveyance part 12 and mounted in front of a lay boy part 16a, and a vacuum box 45a for sheet suction disposed between the bottom support belts 42a. Plural guide belts 40a which are disposed in parallel to each other and an air table 52a disposed between the guide belts 40a and provided with plural blower nozzles 54a are mounted above a part between the deceleration device 14 and the lay boy part 16a. Sheets are attracted and sucked by Coanda effect by making the blowing direction of the blower nozzles 54a coincide with the traveling direction of sheets.
