A process of producing spinel-type lithium manganate which is characterized by comprising pulverizing electrodeposited manganese dioxide, neutralizing the powder with sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate to a pH of 2 or higher, mixing the electrolytic manganese dioxide with a lithium raw material, and firing the mixture.

A phosphor layer forming apparatus (1) in which a paste (21) containing a phosphor is discharged so as to cover each of a plurality of light-emitting elements (11) mounted on a substrate (10) includes the following: a discharge portion (12) for discharging the paste (21) in the form of droplets onto each of the light-emitting elements (11); a measurement portion (13) for measuring the thickness of individual phosphor layers that are formed of the paste (21) covering each of the light-emitting elements (11); and a discharge control portion (14) for controlling the amount of the paste (21) to be redischarged for each phosphor layer in accordance with the thickness of the individual phosphor layers measured by the measurement portion (13). This phosphor layer forming apparatus can reduce the manufacturing time.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that data obtained by receiving compressed data is not normally decoded when a vehicle transmits the compressed data when traveling through a place with many outside noises in an image transmitter for vehicle. SOLUTION: The image transmitter for vehicle which travels on a determined route to transmit information acquired during traveling has an encoding means 102 for encoding the acquired information, an information transmitter for vehicle position detecting means 110 for detecting the position of the information transmitter for a vehicle, and an outside noise information acquisition means 105 for acquiring information about outside noises from the position of the information transmitter for a vehicle detected by the information transmitter for vehicle position detecting means 110 to determine an encoding method on the basis of the information about the outside noises acquired by the outside noise information acquisition means 105. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for detecting an abnormal operation that an image memory is not updated, and preventing a video image different from a video image being photographed by a camera, from being transmitted to a user or an image signal processing apparatus. SOLUTION: A determination part 6 detects abnormal updating in an image memory 2 by comparing frame information in a current frame information acquisition means 4 for acquiring frame information from the latest image signal obtained in the image memory 2, with that in a previous frame information storage means 5 storing previous frame information, and an image processing means 3 outputs an image signal generated by a warning image generation means 7 to a display device 8 or an external video signal processing apparatus instead of an image signal obtained from an onboard camera 1 when the abnormality is detected. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an interference wave removing characteristic of a filter device. SOLUTION: The filter device 9 is provided with a laminated filter 10 having a low pass characteristic or a band pass characteristic and a surface acoustic wave type filter 11 connected to the output side of the laminated filter 10. The surface acoustic wave type filter 11 is mounted on the upper surface of the laminated filter 10 and has configuration in which an output terminal 13 of the laminated filter 10 is covered with the surface acoustic wave type filter 11. The filter device 9 has configuration in which the output terminal 13 of the laminated filter 10 or a signal line 17 connected to the output terminal 13 is covered with the surface acoustic wave type filter 11, so that high frequency noise can be prevented from being superimposed again on a signal from which the high frequency noise is removed by the laminated filter 10, on the output side of the laminated filter 10. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a 1/4-effective-wavelength slot antenna which makes a ground conductor 103 having finite area function as a dipole, where a portion of a feed line 113 in an region of intersection with a sot 111 is formed in a loop shape 123, and end open slot resonators 108c and 108d having open ends at one of outer peripheries 105a, 105b, 105c, 105d of the ground conductor 103 has slot lengths set to a 1/4-effective-wavelength at a stop band frequency. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device which can suppress a generation of a shading, without reducing the diagonal incident characteristics of an incident light. SOLUTION: In a MOS type solid-state imaging device 1, when in pixel cells 101 to 104 in which upper layer wirings (electric charge transfer lines 1018 to 1048) are shifted and formed, the pixel cells that exist across a center L 1 of an imaging area and at a portion on the both sides, for example; the pixel cell 101 and the pixel cell 104, are examined by comparison, power supply lines 1016, 1046, vertical signal lines 1017, 1047; and electric charge transfer lines 1018, 1048 pertinent to the mutual pixel cells 101, 104 are formed with a relation of a symmetry with respect to a plane, on the basis of a virtual plane supposed to a direction perpendicular to a paper face from the center L 1 of a sensor part 10 in the X axis direction.
