    Abstract: PURPOSE: To control a synchronous motor by detecting the rotary angle of a rotor without sensor and using it in the motor having salient poles. CONSTITUTION: The currents Iu, Iv flowing in stator coils are detected, and the rotary angle is estimated by a rotary angle estimating unit 16 from the currents Iu, Iv. This estimation is conducted by utilizing the fact that the model of a synchronous motor 40 is provided in a synchronous motor controller 10, the deviation Δθ between the rotary angle of the model and the real rotary angle is proportional to the deviation of the actual Id current of the motor and the current of the model, and the deviation of the angular velocity of rotation of the motor is proportional to the difference between the real current Iq of the motor and the current of the model. The angular velocity of rotation is decided to be actually not largely changed, and can be obtained as a moving mean. In this case, the sampling time is reduced, and the calculating accuracy can be improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide apparatus and method capable of preventing the positional deviation of comb teeth by preventing the occurrence of folds or cracks in an equipment for producing a stator core by winding and laminating a strip- shaped material having sinking comb teeth. CONSTITUTION: A base portion 14 of a strip-shaped material 10 is pressured by dies 18 and extended by a predetermined amount in the longitudinal direction. At this time, the pressuring amount is adjusted in such a manner that the amount of elongation increases at the outer portion after being wound round. By doing this, the strip-shaped material 10 is bent and the winding can be performed without creating folds or cracks. Also, projected stripes are provided in parallel to the cylindrical shafts on the outer periphery of a winding jig 12 of a cylindrical shape and the position of the comb teeth of the strip-shaped material 10 is restricted by this projected stripes.

Effect of disturbance such as response delay and temperature of a evaluation device and its measuring sensors is included in the measured basic characteristics. By correcting information collected during testing by using the basic characteristics measured while the current instruction I* is used as a time reference, influence of response delay can be removed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a motor having high efficiency and workability by increasing the effective magnetic circuit area of a ties while sustaining high space factor of coils. CONSTITUTION:Slit-like slots 20 are made in the stator core 12 in order to increase the width of a ties 18 thus increasing the effective magnetic circuit area thereof significantly and obtaining a highly efficient motor. A formed coil body 16 inserted into each slot 20 is formed of a rectangular coil 14 having predetermined number of turns. The rectangular coil 14 has substantially square cross-section and the side thereof is substantially equal to the width of slit-like slot. The rectangular coil 14 is arranged in a row in the rear of the slot with the coil end being bent. This structure maximizes the space factor of the formed coil body 16 in the slot 20 and makes compact the coil end.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce iron loss by employing an oriented electromagnetic steel plate in place of a non-oriented electromagnetic steel plate in a stator formed by laminating electromagnetic steel plates and to facilitate manufacture of the stator structure. CONSTITUTION:Yokes and teeth constituting a stator are split and the yoke is further split in the peripheral direction. The yoke pieces 20, 21 and the pieces 22, 23 are formed of an oriented electromagnetic steel plate such that the yoke pieces 20, 21 have easy direction of magnetization in the peripheral direction and the teeth pieces 22, 23 have easy direction of magnetization in the radial direction. The yoke pieces and the teeth pieces are jointed alternately in the laminating direction. Consequently, the direction of flux in the yoke pieces 20, 21 and teeth pieces 22, 23 is aligned with the easy direction of magnetization of oriented electromagnetic steel plate and thereby the iron loss is reduced and the efficiency of a motor 40 is enhanced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a PM type synchronous motor in which high torque and high speed rotation can be achieved. CONSTITUTION:This PM type synchronous motor has a rotor 6 in which a plurality of permanent magnets 7 are provided in circumferential form and a stator 1 in which a plurality of excitation coils 3 are provided in coaxial form with respect to the rotor 6. A spacer 9 is provided between the adjacent permanent magnets 7, thereby reducing the magnetic reluctance of magnetic flux due to a magnetizing current. Thereby, the number of magnetic flux due to the magnetizing current is increased and consequently the attraction and repulsion between the stator 1 and the rotor 6 are increased, so that the torque of the stator 1 and the rotor 6 may be increased and the high-speed rotation of the rotor 6 may be achieved.

Accordingly, the phase delay of the current IF of the motor SV, i.e., the delay of the output torque can be eliminated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve efficiency by a method wherein an armature coil is arranged independently from other windings, arranged continuously, so as not to be intersected and four pieces of magnets, which is larger than the number of phase of three-phase AC by one, are arranged in the spaces of respective phases while converting the polarities of the same. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of slots 24a is formed on the inner peripheral surface of an armature core 24, forming an armature 22, and armature coils 20 are wound in the slots. The coil 26 is arranged independently from other coils, arranged continuously, so as not to be intersected. A plurality of permanent magnets 34 is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of a rotor core 32 while converting the polarities thereof alternately to form a field. The field is formed by arraying four pieces of permanent magnets, which means a number consisting of the number of phases 3 of 3-phase AC plus one, in every spaces of respective phases of the armature. According to this method, a magnetic field, produced by one set of winding, will never be cancelled by another magnetic field, produced by the other winding, and a magnetic resistance between the armature and the field is constituted so as to be small whereby a rotary armature, having a high efficiency, can be obtained.
