PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to easily make a packaging container into a can shape when a commodity is stored inside, to hardly generate falling down of the commodity when the commodity is taken out from this packaging container on a consumer side, and to enable to sell a filling commodity of a packaging bag in a bending machine by using the ease-to-use packaging container. SOLUTION: In the packaging container 1 in which a pair of half-divided bodies 4 are connected through a self hinge 8 so as to be openable and closeable, on gutter side parts on the opposite side of the self hinge 8 in respective half-divided bodies 4, recessed parts 10 recessed to the storing space sides are equipped. A cylindrical body closing means 9 in which locking bodies 15 provided in the recessed parts 10 of one half divided body 4 are engaged engageable and detachable on the bodies 16 to be locked provided in the recessed parts 10 of the other half divided bodies 4, are provided so that it is positioned on the recessed part continuous part 11 where the recessed parts 10 are continuous and under a non-projecting condition outward from a columnar outer peripheral face position of the cylindrical body 2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing bitter taste of bitter melon (Momordica charantia) to allow utilization of bitter melon as a new food processing material and contribute to expansion of the use of the same. SOLUTION: Bitter melon (Momordica charantia) is immersed in water, ethanol-water, sugar solution, etc., or kneaded together with salt or boiled in a salt solution and, thereafter, immersed in running water to reduce the bitter taste of bitter melon. The method for reducing the bitter taste of bitter melon can improve the bitter melon to have easily takable mild taste and flavor while keeping characteristic chewy texture and color of bitter melon. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box serving as a wrap-around-case that can be formed by folding a single cardboard base paper to assemble a cylindrical shape, in which contents, such as individual package cases 60 which are packed, are securely protected and easily taken out when the box is opened, especially without degrading a pressure capacity. SOLUTION: In the packing box assembled using a cardboard base paper 30, a joining piece 36 is continuously provided to a front end side of a lid plate 34 via a break line 37. A break line 52 extending laterally is formed on an upper edge side of a front side plate 31 to be joined to the joining piece 36, and a vertical slit 53 at an opening starting position of the lateral break line 52 is formed at a shared corner section of the front side plate 31 and an auxiliary flap 46 so that the vertical slit 53 protrudes outward by an elastic force at the corner section. SOLUTION: Through classifying according to the single-nucleotide polymorphisms of hlyA gene, inlA gene, clpC gene and plcA gene, found in Listeria monocytogenes, and detecting a plurality of single-nucleotide polymorphisms, consisting of identified combinations classifiable according to the specific single-nucleotide permutations within the single-nucleotide polymorphism of each gene, the virulent strain belonging to the same group as the strain found in the clinical strain can be detected. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a steamed pudding by which generation of pores and separation of milk fat are suppressed in a production process of the steamed pudding rich in milk fat, and syneresis caused when thawing frozen steamed pudding is prevented: and to provide the steamed pudding obtained by the method. SOLUTION: The method for making a steamed pudding includes almost uniformly admixing a prescribed amount of potato, an emulsifier and a stabilizer to pudding dough so as to suppress separation of fat content and generation of pores caused in the production process, and prevent syneresis caused when thawing a frozen steamed pudding. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portion-cut soft cheese which is added with a flavor substance, having a surface matured with a mold, is free from problems in a portion-cut process even by portion-cutting after adding the flavor substance, maturing and thermally sterilizing the cheese, free from leakage of the cheese and the flavor substance from a packaging material in thermal sterilization and resistant to collapse of the shape. SOLUTION: Mechanical problems in the portion-cut process can be avoided by adding the flavor substance during a primary maturing period and portion-cutting after the maturing period of at least one day after adding the flavor substance. The portion-cut soft cheese added with the flavor substance and surface-matured with a mold can be produced without causing leakage of the cheese and the flavor substance and the shape collapse in the thermal sterilization after a secondary maturing period by closely packaging the cut surface of the cheese exposing the flavor substance by the portion-cutting process with the packaging material. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleep ameliorator high in safety and takable over a long period, including, as an active ingredient, hot-water extract of microorganisms of Cordyceps sinensis. SOLUTION: When a model rat having sleep disorder is administered with the hot-water extract of microorganisms of Cordyceps sinensis, shortening of awakening time, increase of non-REM sleep time and shortening of sleeping latent time were observed. However, as for well-known ingredients (adenosine, L-glutamic acid, γ-aminobutyric acid) at levels present in an effective amount of the hot-water extract, such effects were not observed. Thus, the hot-water extract of microorganisms of Cordyceps sinensis has been found to have the effect of highly ameliorating sleep disorders, being independent of these well-known ingredients.
