摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for absorption of bile acid, and to obtain a bile acid absorbing agent. SOLUTION: A method for absorption of bile acid using a lactic acid bacterium having a property that bile acid is taken into the bacterial cell in the presence of a carbon source and the bile acid is not discharged outside the cell. Also, a bile acid absorbing agent using the lactic aid bacterium. Examples of the bile acid absorbing agent include Lactobacillus acidophilus JCM-1029 and Bifidobacterium breve JCM-1192. Further, examples of the bile acid absorbing agent include oral preparations, and food and drink.
